We declined and went to explore the area. When we returned to the place, they asked me for more money again, to allow us (6people) to stay in the apartment. They claimed that since the reservation was on my name, they PREPARED the apartment for me only. We ended up leaving this place and renting another place that was cheaper than what they were asking me extra, to spend the night. Because they couldn’t take more money from me to check in earlier, they attempted to get more money when we returned to check in. My experience: 1\. The receptionist that has the morning shift always had an attitude, and always ignored us when we approached the Desk. He seemed like he did not want to work at all. 2\. They say they have a Buffet, but in reality they have someone serving very small portions of only scrambled eggs, 1 arepa, 1 bread and two pieces of papaya fruit. You cannot go back for more. You get what you get. 3\. The building feels abandoned. There is no type of maintenance there ants all over the couches in the lobby when you first walk in. 4\. The pool is very dirty and no one working in those areas. 5\. The jacuzzi schedule is not followed or respected. The guest are suppose to have an hour of jacuzzi time. When we arrived there was a family that didn’t want to leave so I called the receptionist and no one helped us or had been or respected the time that we are required. 6\. Cold jacuzzi 7\. Shower is cold water. 8\. Only one elevator working. 9\. Far from everything.
