I had a really great stay at this hotel in Santa Marta. The staff were great fun and friendly and the rooms were clean and cosy. The location was near to the sea and nightlife :)

Great!

The hotel is in a great location, staff including the cleaning people was very kind and friendly. They let us leave our bags for couple of days while we went for a tour. I definitely recomend this place, also family friendly.

Basic but perfect

This hotel is very basic, but it is comfortable and located close to all of the main attractions in the cultural center of Santa Marta. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It can be a little loud here on weekend evening, but you can also be in the heart of all the action. I would stay here again.

This property is definitely a NO NO to reserve, it didnt have elevator, parking lot, hot water, room was stinky, the AC was super old and didn't work properly, break fast sucks, don't ever reserve this place it's terrible, este lugar es definitivo un NO No para reservaciones, no tiene elevador, no tiene parqueo, no hay agua caliente, el aire no funcionaba bien, el desayuno terrible, el cuarto apestaba, es lo peor, nunca vayas a este lugar totalmente una decepción.

Descriminatory Hotel

Rented a hotel room for a day and then rented for 2 additional days for 2 persons. The first night my friend that lives locally spent the night with no issue checking in and showing his identification. At midday as i went to pay for my additional days all of a sudden additional questions about my friend and if he had a form that he was legal immigrant in Colombia from Venezuela. They said he could come in as a visitor but could not spend the night. I ended up leaving the hotel and moving to another hotel with no questions asked only his identification.

El hostal no tiene agua caliente ni proporciona toallas a no ser que las pidas en recepción. Las fotos distan bastante de la realidad de las habitaciones… Pero sin duda alguna es su ubicación y ruido, la música a todo volumen hasta las 3:30am, la habitación parecía la propia discoteca… la encargada de recepción poco sorprendida de nuestra queja nos dijo que no podía hacer nada, tienen derecho hasta esa hora. En fin, si buscas un lugar de descanso cerca de la playa antes de empezar tu aventura por Tayrona y ciudad perdida desde luego este no es el lugar…

The hotel was excellent. Great price, clean, delicious breakfast with great service and in and excellent location. It is one block away from el parque de los novios where it’s a meeting point for planned activity tours and a great option for restaurants. The room had great AC, and yes no hot water, but it’s not needed. My only recommendations are: our room needed a night stand, a working built-in safe and a renovated closet. We had a great time and would stay there again. Thank you! El hotel fue excelente. Buen precio, limpio, con desayuno delicioso y buena atención y en una localización excelente. Esta a una cuadra del parque de los novios donde es un punto de encuentro para actividades planeadas de tours y con muchas opciones de restaurantes. La habitación tuvo buen aire acondicionado, y si no hay agua caliente, pero no se necesita. Mis únicas recomendaciones son: nuestra habitación solo necesitaba una mesa de noche, una caja de seguridad servible y un armario renovado. La pasamos muy bien y volveríamos a quedarnos ahí. Gracias!

The hotel room was very close to the lobby, therefore we heard noise all night and morning when people gets up and checked in and out. We couldnt sleep well. Breakfast was poor, some fruits and 2 empanadas of cheese no other options, no bread , no eggs, and a tomato juice that is very sour for breakfast.. coffee option available.
