Absolutely spotless, responsive staff, spectacular views and quiet, Casa Qi was perfect. The quiet is earned by a rather steep uphill walk from Mazunte town uphill to the hotel. The service is 5 star. It’s extremely affordable and a short walk to restaurants, bars, shopping and the beach. We read about the hill, but we don’t mind. If it’s hard for someone to walk the hill, they can get a cab. We dipped in the pool after dark and watched the stars before we headed to bed which was super comforting. We were aware of the steep heel to the hotel. But difficult for our taxi driver to locate as no signage of the name out front. beautiful location and garden, outdoor space is unreal, pool, view. Well kept. We had booked a king size and got two double beds, one of the beds being hard as a rock. Our room smelt like cat pee and towels had stains on them. All things easily overlooked when in such a beautiful place, but then our shower but like pins and needles. Great water pressure but the head comes out in the tiniest streams it actually hurt to shower, never experienced a shower like that before, so disappointing. Amazing view from all rooms. Pool was immaculate and fun to swim in at night and look at the stars. AC was useful due to humidity. We did not need a car but we came for a few days of just going to the beach and not sightseeing.
