You arrive and walk out to the infinity pool and unobstructed 180 degree views of the ocean and the beaches and town below. We loved Casa Kal Mar. We spent a lot of our time there. We could lounge around, or go down to the beaches and the towns in the area, and come back to our little Casa Kal Mar retreat and soak in the pool or lounge around. Very laid back perfect home base. The stuff was always helpful and very nice. We good delicious breakfast every morning and whenever we need something else, they were very nice and gave us what we needed. I recommend Casa KalMar specifically if you want to stay in a quiet place and enjoy the weather and beach. Private beach and the views from the hotel were stunning. All the staff are very accommodating. Delia is a doll! The pool is beautiful. The room was cool even though it was very hot and humid when we were there. The property is beautiful. The view is divine. The breakfast is plentiful: fruit yogurt and granola to start then fresh cooked hot food. The staff will do anything for you. We had the top floor room that was spacious and comfortable. Highly recommend. The cats and dog were good company. It was perfect. As seasoned world travellers this place is now in our top five best accommodations list. The breakfast was delicious, the host and staff are nice and helpful. The room we had was smaller than what i anticipates but overall it was good. The AC works great! There is not a TV but you might not need it with the sea view from your room doorstep. My only concern was all the little bugs that somehow get inside the room. However you are in a jungle environment so highly recommended bug spray. The manager Sylvia was kind and informative and the breakfasts were phenomenal. The property is a bit of a hike but the view was truly unforgettable.
