casa DROMe is adjacent Sena Plaza c.1831 A central location for exploring numerous
historic sites, museums, art galleries, restaurants, and shops.
casa DROMe was built in the early 1920's. The dwelling has a long history of being: a residence, art gallery, office space and now revitalized to it's original purpose -- home. Embracing New Mexico's light through out; relax in the 1300sf space, enjoy the front portal or private courtyard. casa DROMe is the ultimate in comfort and contemporary southwest style. The owner presents her "hospitality design" occupation and expertise to provide you with high quality furnishes and finishes. There are hardwood floors through out and natural stone tile in the bathrooms.
The high ceiling in the living room is constructed with original vigas. The space is furnished with a leather Henredon sofa, kiva fireplace, Sony LCD smart TV, WiFi, and Sonos music for your enjoyment. The kitchen is equipped with Kraft Maid cabinets and limestone countertops, stainless steel appliances: Summit refrigerator and electric range/oven, Whirlpool dishwasher, and micro-wave. The master bedroom wing consist of a sleeping area with a king size bed dressed in Signoria bedding, a newly remodeled master bath w/shower, stone vanity sink, Toto water closet, and Whirlpool washer/dryer. There is also a dressing room with a desk and settee for quiet reading or your relaxation. The second bedroom consist of a queen size bed and ample closet space. The second bath, also newly remodeled, has custom hand made tiles, a shower, vanity and Kohler water closet.

Best Location in Santa Fe!

The house was in walking distance of everything you want to be near in Santa Fe! Parking is easy (right in front) and the house was immaculant. There house was fully stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, napkins (all the necessities) and even had toiletries provided. Nice to have everything on one floor when traveling with elderly parents. The beds were SO comfortable (an my husband can usually find something wrong with beds). Overall a wonderful experience!

Weekend getaway

From the minute we walked in the door, we felt very welcomed. The house was beautifully furnished with amazing art everywhere. Bedrooms were comfortable and we each had our own bathroom. The outdoor patio was a wonderful place to sit and enjoy some wine and snacks. Very quiet street and a quick stroll to the plaza. Perfect!

Great location close to the Plaza!

We loved the location, cleanliness of the house and communication! It was a perfect spot for two couples, allowing us to explore the plaza and surroundings on our schedule. Great restaurants easily within walking distance and the neighborhood is really quiet in the mornings and evenings. All the appliances and lights worked and the beds and bedding are comfortable. Sooo much better than a hotel, I am really glad we found this place!

Truly PERFECT!

Casa DROMe is beautiful! Parking our car at the front door and entering the casa took our breath away. Its peaceful and convenient location made our stay in Santa Fe magical. The owner had anticipated our every need within the casa and just outside the front door was an exciting world of restaurants, shops, galleries and parks. We will treasure every detail of our stay and intend to return to Casa DROMe soon.

This Vrbo is not furnished as a rental. This is a beautifully curated home. It is a jewelry box filled with art . Vrbo properties always claim to be in good locations. This place sits quietly behind the Plaza. Every museum and restaurant is within a five minute walk. I miss it already.

Upscale, inviting, and perfectly located

I hesitate to start with the location, but to be on a quiet street one block off the Santa Fe Plaza is simply remarkable. The house is within walking distance of a slew of museums, shops and restaurants. Having dedicated parking in front of the property is another big plus. The house itself was perfect for two couples. It is beautifully decorated, spacious, fully stocked, and represents the best of Santa Fe taste.

We loved the location of this house, and the layout -- 2 bedrooms and 2 baths that feel "equal" -- is perfect for two friends or two couples. Perfectly appointed kitchen, warm living room, sweet outdoor coffee spot (if the weather serves). Felt private and gorgeously "Santa Fe," while being so close to the plaza. Topped off with an easy parking spot. What could be better?

What a wonderful place!

This home is just perfection! The location is great… a block off the square. It’s very clean and well stocked. The home is filled with that cozy, artsy Santa Fe feeling including the cute enclosed outdoor patio which offers another spot to relax or have a meal. Communication with Carolyn is fast, friendly, and very helpful. Checking in and out was a breeze. It’s obvious Carolyn takes great pride in this beautiful home and we enjoyed every second of our time there. We will be back!

Best Santa Fe location

We stayed here with my brother-in-law and his wife. Location couldn’t be better. We walked to every meal but one. The square was two blocks away. We watched the eclipse from one block away. Georgia O’Keefe museum a five minute walk. Great shopping minutes from house and we could walk to canyon road. House was very comfortable for four adults. We would definitely stay here again.
