Beautiful Downtown Home on 1.5 Acres! Perfect for winter ski trips! Come! Relax in the heart of downtown Santa Fe on this 1.5 acre home, in what feels like a desert paradise, just minutes walk from the plaza. Enjoy dinner on the patio, watching the sunset, the deer passing through, or relax in the hot tub and look up at the starts after walking downtown for dinner, to see an outdoor concert on the bandstand, or for some time at one of our amazing museums. For winter fun, the house couldn’t be better. It is at the base of the ski hill, just a straight shot up to the Santa Fe Ski lifts, only 15 miles up the hill. There is a covered outdoor cove for ski gear storage, as well. This recently renovated, brand new listing, is a Santa Fe gem. With three bedrooms and three full bathrooms, there is privacy for all. The house comes with an extra bonus room off the master suite, with a single loft bed, as well, and also includes a pull out sofa for extra guests. The master suite has a huge soaking tub, with views of the hills beyond, and a private toilet. With another queen bedroom, 2 twin bedroom, bonus twin bedroom off master, and the pull out sofa, there is room for 9 to sleep comfortably. The house has an old-world elegance, with brick floors through the living areas and marble floors through much of the rest of the house, it is decorated with antique oriental rugs, a collection of eclectic southwest and contemporary art, and built in antique doors, shelving units, and bar. With cathedral ceilings and beautiful wooden beams, this house has a romance and elegance that is unique. The kitchen is beautifully renovated, with a custom gourmet butcher block island and hand-poured moroccan tile with an eating counter. The stove comes with a griddle option, and the oven has a second warming oven, plus convection, proofing, and many other functions. This kitchen was built for those who love to entertain, and opens to an antique built-in wet bar and formal dining room. With two living rooms, outdoor dining, outdoor sofas and lounging, outdoor spa area, and a quiet grass lawn with a private hanging swing for quiet time, there is ample space to enjoy company and solitude with a glass or wine or a good book. With beautiful year-round weather, the outdoor space can be enjoyed through the winter, and walks through the paths into the arroyos beyond are peaceful and give an incredible sense of space and Santa Fe living. With wifi through the house, large cable television, and smart system for music and speakers built into the house, you can enjoy relaxing to a good movie or music of your choice over dinner. The house is owned by a couple who also own the local restaurant supply, and a gift certificate for shopping for restaurant quality kitchen gear is given to each and every renter! As the local experts in the restaurants in town, they have put together a comprehensive listing of the local places to eat and drink and fantastic things to do, from the must sees to other activities that are off the beaten track. The house also comes with skateboards, scooters, and some bikes that are all available for guests and their children to use. The home accommodated seven adults well with the rooms and beds. Beds were comfortable. The kitchen had great amenities and even an array of spices. So others know, the house is only minutes from the Santa Fe Plaza but not walkable due to no road shoulder or sidewalks part of the way. My only complaint is that towels, toilet paper, and trash bags were limited. ##### Melissa I. The house was well stocked and had so many places to relax - both inside and out.Myself and husband, along with our two little ones. my mom, my brother and sister in law abs our dogs all enjoyed the house so much. Pretty much everything we needed was there. I'd say my only complaint is that for us who don't read the details, the 4th room explanation needs to be up front. That room is within the master bedroom. Lots of space to lounge and entertain. Everyone had their own room with the exception of our youngest daughter whose room was located in the master suite. The homes in this neighborhood are carefully placed so that everyone feels very private. The views out the kitchen and living room window are amazing. I would consider it a 3.5 bedroom and our granddaughter enjoyed staying in that alcove. I love to cook, and this was the best organized, With the best equipment to date. What a fabulous retreat! The house was absolutely amazing and the decor was wonderful and everything felt so comfortable. Our large group was very comfortable in the space. There were 3 bedrooms with a twin bed in a 6ft by 6ft closet inside the master bedroom. Apparently they believe that is a bedroom. The place was spacious - both inside and out - and comfortably fit us. The kitchen was well equipped and we spent a lot of quality time together cooking and eating together outside. The outdoor space was even better than expected and the weather this past week was perfect. We’d definitely stay there again if we returned to Santa Fe. It was a great stay! ##### Kyle H. We stayed here for my 40th birthday and were blown away by the beautiful decor and the amazing location. While close enough to walk to the plaza, it's set up in the hills where you can see the trees and hear the coyotes howl at night. The hostess was just the best quickly responding to questions and even leaving us a bottle of champagne to celebrate. We will absolutely stay here again! ##### Tiffany D. Overall really nice stay and extremely comfortable. Bed pillows were not comfortable; would have been good to have a better and larger sauté pan. Lock on back door does not work We figured out how to operate the spa and it was great. The 3 stars given for accuracy of online listing is because there were only 3 bedrooms. 4 bedrooms was a main criteria for our stay, and the little bunk bed in a closet in the master bedroom doesn’t count for a bedroom due to not having privacy. ##### Stevan B.
