This casita boasts all of the Santa Fe touches, including kiva fireplace, hand-troweled plaster walls, wood ceilings, and local art -- all combined with modern conveniences including air conditioning, combo washer/dryer, and a new kitchen. The ample living and outdoor spaces also make this casita unique. Sitting on the front porch gives you a view over the garden and makes you feel a part of the quaint Don Gaspar neighborhood, while the secluded back patio is the perfect place to decompress. When you are ready to venture out, the famous Santa Fe Plaza is only seven short blocks away and the State Capitol is only one block away. The owner, a Santa Fe native, lives just across the street and is happy to share insider tips or let you enjoy your privacy. This rental is one-half of a historic, single-level duplex, but is quite private. Nether the living room, nor either of the bedrooms share walls with neighbors. It was walkable to the plaza area and many of the sites in Santa Fe. It was extremely clean and the owners were a pleasure to work with.
