There are no common area bathrooms. This home is over 50 years old and captures the charm of rustic Santa Fe with a slightly modern take. Because of that, temperatures can range throughout the house. To help with this, all common areas and every bedroom have their own heating and cooling units, with the exception of the pink room. That room, the hallway, and laundry room can sometimes get a little chilly or warm. There is a space heater in that room and with the door closed it stays perfectly warm. Socks will be a very good idea as most of the floors in the house are either tile or wood. In the winter months (Nov - Mar), 4 wheel drive with snow tires is recommended. The driveway was a bit steep, so I can see how four-wheel drive vehicles are needed, but we had no issues with access. The outdoor space was so fun to use and the kids really enjoyed being in the hot tub while it was snowing. Plenty of space for our group of 8 (4 adults and 4 kids) to spread out and find our own space if needed, but also lots of good gathering areas to play games. The location was very convenient to get to downtown and enjoy all Santa Fe has to offer while still feeling like you're out in the peaceful countryside. ##### Kammy E. Lots of games were played from pool to video games to ping pong, we got to witness a sunset on the walk out patio I will remember forever. We also had the outdoor fire going, barbeque and people in the very clean and large hot tub. The whole house was very clean and lovely. Everything is still 5 star but we didn't take the time to figure out how to adjust the thermostat when it was a bit chilly and we couldn't find any throw blankets to use while on the couch but we also didn't make a point of asking the host for those. For the people who stayed in the one bedroom without a bathroom, it was a bit awkward to have to go through someone else's bedroom at night to access a bathroom but that was explained in the VRBO ad in the beginning.
