SANTA FE GEM!
We had a perfect stay at Casa Carmen Zia! Tres Amigas-friends since high school- spent a week in this fabulous getaway in May! The house is exactly as pictured, with comfortable furniture and extra comfortable beds. We appreciated the beautiful handrails and the attention to detail throughout the house. We loved the welcome chips, salsa, coffee and biscochitos! With three gathering areas, there's ample room to spread out and enjoy indoors, outdoors and the covered patio. Our one blip of the week occurred upon check in, as the earlier rains had swelled the front door a bit and we could not open it. Our call to the emergency number was answered swiftly and the on call manager, Ariana, arrived within minutes to help us. The next day, a handyman was dispatched who smoothed out the door and rehung it. And as long as we remembered it was a push--not a pull- front door, we were golden! This house is in a great location to enjoy all that Santa Fe has to offer.

Loved the house
3 couples stayed & we were happy with location, great outside area to sit & visit. 2 large bedrooms with bathrooms, 3rd is smaller & bathroom must be shared with another bedroom. Welcomed us with a bottle of wine & blue corn chips, salsa & water which was a pleasant surprise. Will definitely stay again when visiting next.

Spectacular Host and Property
We were blown away by how nice this property was!!!! The home is decorated beautifully and the amenities were great. We came as a family for a ski trip and the house sits right off of the main road to go skiing. The property manager puts an extra effort in to make you feel welcome and were easy to get on the phone for questions. The home was very clean on arrival and the beds and pillows were great. Can’t say enough about how happy I was with this rental!!! Thanks again.

Santa Fe beauty
The house is beautiful including very interesting artwork and artifacts and the location was perfect. We were at an event at Upaya Zen Center which is just a few minutes drive from it, and also just minutes from the plaza. Beds were terrific, kitchen was lovely and fully equipped and neighborhood very quiet. We would definitely stay there again.

Fabulous property!
Outside of property--small-looking adobe--does not tell the story of the interior. Two master bedrooms, large baths with walk-in showers, everything so CLEAN and organized (wish my kitchen at home was as well-equipped), and QUIET! Beds had comfy, firm mattresses. Perfect place to return to after day of shopping and sight-seeing in Santa Fe!!

Best beds, fab patio, walk to hiking!
This was an incredible place for a week with friends. The mattresses are delicious, kitchen extremely well stocked, patio a lovely place to enjoy the ski even when cold out. A lovely 25 minute walk in the morning got our early am crew to a great coffee shop. Super fast drive (5mins) or east walk (25 mins) to amazing trailhead.

Perfect!!
This house was perfect for our family! The beds are so cozy, the bathrooms are beautifully remodeled, and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare a meal! Easy to get to town or ski Santa Fe. The house is tucked away in a Quiet beautiful neighborhood. It’s perfect for a family with children but It basically has 2 master bedrooms so it would be perfect for 2 couples too!

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Carmen Zia. The home was well furnished and roomy. The Welcome treats from the property manager were a nice touch, very thoughtful. The description was a bit misleading though, it was not an "easy downhill walk" to the Plaza, it is 1.5 miles to the Plaza. And renters should be informed that the house is in a rural area, off a gravel road. The driveway had no lighting, so it was hard to see at night. A few things did not work properly: the bathroom heater and ice maker were broken, and we could not get the standalone fireplace to work, despite following the instructions. Also, it seemed there was always a delay in getting answers back from the property manager, perhaps they were short-staffed. But all in all, we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Thank you for the review. I have removed that sentence about walking distances from the copy, as though it is less than a mile to Canyon Road, you are correct about the distance to The Plaza. While this home is off of a dirt road, it is still in a residential neighborhood within the city of Santa Fe, so I wouldn't consider it a rural location. Santa Fe is not as well-lit as many American cities, which gives us a fantastic view of the night sky, but can be a little bit challenging for some visitors that are not used to it. After looking into our records, I don't believe that we were contacted about any of the issues that you mentioned in the home, but our team did discover them upon your departure and they have been resolved. Unfortunately, the emails that you sent to us before you arrived were being routed to our spam folder for some reason, but we are available 24/7 by phone for any issues that may arise during or before future guests' stays.

Great location! Just over a mile from the historic district of Santa Fe, but still in a rural and quiet area. The home was a perfect place to relax, unwind and catch up between tours and activities!

Perfect house
From the minute we walked in, we felt welcome. There was a special surprise for us, which was a nice touch. The house is decorated so darling. It was equipped with everything we needed. And, it was super close to the shopping. Thank you for everything!

Perfect stay
Property was even better than expected. It was very comfortable, clean and especially loved the furnishings and decorating. The owners did an excellent job of communicating with us, letting us know the status of the cleaning crew before we checked in. They were also so kind to leave us a welcome gift.
