This property has an excellent compromise between all these factors. Built in the 70's, when Garajau was much less populated, the architecture of the house takes us to that time. The recent renovation will make your stay more pleasant. With two bedrooms, both with double bed, this property has a maximum capacity of 4 people. Enjoy the terrace and sun on the south side of our island, go to one of the nearby beaches and live Garajau and Madeira. AREA In the Garajau area there is easy access to several restaurants, shops and supermarkets. There is also a beach ten minutes walk and a small trail for your morning walks, right next to the Cristo-Rei monument. Renting a car at the airport can be a good option to discover the island at your pace. You can also choose to relax in Garajau by walking its residential streets, going to the beach or reading a book. These are just some of the privileges of staying in this area. GETTING AROUND The best option to get to the apartment will be the transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the taxis you find at the airport. If you rent a car, any navigation app can easily find the address. There is a bus stop 2 minutes walk from the house. ACCESS TO PROPERTY You have access to all areas of the property. INTERACTION We are always available to help or answer questions. We do our best to reply all requests. We also have an app for guests with all the important information about the property and other useful information for your stay. OTHER OBSERVATIONS \- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (passport or identity card). \- Check-in hour must be scheduled in advance. If it is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours before, guests will be subject to the availability of our team. \- All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also put a baby cot, a high chair and a baby bath if needed, but you should request. There are a first aid kit, extinguishers and fire blanket in the property. ATTENTION We inform that a Municipal Tourist Ecotax will be charged for person staying overnight in the municipality of Santa Cruz. All guests staying in tourist developments and / or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged 2,00€ per person/night, up to a maximum 7 nigths stay/ 14€ per person. Check in was seamless and communication with the management company was always easy. The apartment comes with a very well outfitted kitchen and is spacious with a great terrace. The location in Garajau has multiple restaurants and shopping within walking distance and is right by the highway for easy access to the rest of the island. Cosy, poper home away from home, with everything one needs. We enjoyed breakfasts on the terrace with the view to Porto Santo island. An outdoor shower is also a great addition. Great location with parking for the car we rented, shops and a really good reataurant across the road. Easy to take the bus to Funchal, bus stop just across the road, as well. Dec 26, 2021 #### Small cottage in a great location The house is on a street which has lots of amenities, from the bakery that sits just opposite of the house to a couple of small supermarkets and a really good take away restaurant. The back of the house has a really nice south facing terrace with an ocean view, a decked area with a couple of sun beds which you can use even in the winter time and a decent sized table for having meals outside. On the front of the property there's a small car port which can be tricky to use if you've got a car that's larger than a standard group B. Inside the house there are two decent sized bedrooms and a living room with all the things you'll need, including a 32" flat screen tv with cable and a blu-ray player with some films you can watch. There's a small kitchen with a table that sits four people. Unfortunately the dishwasher wasn't working when we stayed there and most of the pans were so damaged that the teflon coating was peeling out so you couldn't cook any meals with it. Otherwise you have everything you need to prepare food and eat it. The property was mostly clean and tidy, however it had a bit of dust laying around in surfaces. Nevertheless the experience was positive and I would definitely recommend it. ##### Nélio V. Equipement du logement au top, literie très confortable, cuisine équipée parfaite avec ustensiles suffisant. SDB idéale. Terrasse parfaite pour manger et se reposer. A proximité immédiate, une boulangerie avec du pain délicieux, marchand de fruits et légumes frais, pharmacie et autres commerces de proximité. Bref logement idéal pour passer des vacances superbes ! Proximité de l'aéroport à moins de 15 min et du centre de Funchal également à moins de 15 min. Parking seulement pour petites voitures de type Fiat 500\. Belle base de départ pour les randonnées quotidiennes.
