Cafe' EL Palomar has a Mexican cuisine and is a great place tom watch sport volleyball. Kind Grind is a coffee shop with pastries, smoothies,and a deli. Location is good, as you can walk to the beach. Host was nice enough to allow early check in. But ... floors so sticky we couldn't walk barefoot on them. Cheap, polyester sheets and bedding made for night sweating and no way to dry out. She went for 'beach' look instead of sleep comfort. Layout sucks since the wall she put the bed on doesn't allow room for two nightstands, so one person is out of luck. Kitchen had coffee and two coffee makers, so we thought we were set for that, BUT filters didn't fit either one, no sugar and only powdered vanilla (yuk) creamer. Bathroom switches not wired correctly, so you can't use the heat in there and light at the same time. No luggage rack in empty closet, so had to use the only seating in the room for luggage. Had 2 wine glasses, YAY, but ... couldn't even put them on the dining table, due to wobble and uneven wicker top.
