Spain. Catalonia. Costa Brava. Rent house consisting of a house (60 m2), equipped with a covered terrace (23 m2) and a separate tower (56 m2). The house has a private pool and a large outdoor terrace. It is located in a natural park, in a private and secure urbanization, giving free access to tennis, swimming pool, bowling green, children's games and access to the restaurant. The view is exceptional, with distant views of the sea and the old village in front of Romanya de la Selva, Dolmen). Calm is guaranteed, it is a haven of peace, located at the end of a track accessible by car about 1.5km, at the end of a dead end road. The rental is located near three 18-hole golf courses (Mas Nou 10mn by car), an 18-hole golf course (Santa Cristina and Solius), distant on average 6kms from the house. Surrounding mountain and sea views are stunning. Charming hosts, in person check in/ check out. Property has 2 separate units which are about the same size, with different layouts. Main house: one level, kitchen (fridge, electric stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher etc.) living, dining, main bedroom, small bedroom (trundle bed), and bathroom (w/tub) in hallway. The tower next to it has a living area with kitchenette on the ground floor (kettle, small grill oven, mini fridge, no sink). Next floor is a bedroom with bathroom (bathtub) en suite. Top floor has a bedroom (no bathroom). Mattresses: main bedroom (king, firm), small bedroom has two twin mattresses (soft), the tower has two queen mattresses (firm). There are pillows, bed covers and very soft and warm mohair blankets (bring your own linens, towels and bathmats). Space heaters make rooms cozy in evenings. Accessibility: From parking area, to enter main house, walk 2 steps up or a small ramp to terrace (no hand rails), then 3-4 steps up to front or back door (no hand rails). For tower, no steps to enter. Inside, very steep steps with hand rails. Tubs in both units don't have hand rails. Pool is very well maintained. There is a clothes washing machine and ample clothes line for drying. A quiet peaceful area with no immediate neighbors, in the middle of forest and nature. The location is splendid, the views are of mountains and forest with the sea in the distance. It is very private, not overlooked. All the equipment you need is on hand. The pool is clean and clear with weekly servicing and plenty of sunloungers. There are excellent restaurants close by, better than anything we found on the coast. Good supermarkets are 15-20 minutes drive away so take a list and dont forget anything. The village has a basic restaurant and bar with friendly service. A couple of debit points to consider, the pool surround is stony and uncomfortable in bare feet and we found the mattresses rather hard. There are two bedrooms in the tower with the only tower bathroom in one of them , something to consider when deciding who sleeps where. Other than that this was a dreamy vacation. Any queries we had were answered swiftly by Annie using email which ironed out any language issues. Annie and Bernard were a joy to do business with. ##### Steve S.
