"We really enjoyed staying in this quaint and updated Penthouse which was actually very quiet. It was especially nice to leave our car in the parking lot most of our visit since we could walk just about anywhere we wanted to go. There were lots of great restaurants nearby and we enjoyed a 2 1/2 hour bike tour in town our first day there. I would definitely recommend this gem to family and friends!"

"My friend and I stayed for one night here. The building and room was easy to find, but beware of parking. We parked on the street and within 2 minutes we had a parking warning for street cleaning (the street sign said cleaning was on Monday, we were here on Tuesday). So keep that in mind! Everything was extremely clean and the room exceeded expectations. Bed was super comfy, but it was hard to sleep because you can hear evvvvveeeerrrrything happening in the unit above. The views are amazing, and it's a very short drive to the main strip of restaurants and shopping areas. It was exactly what we wanted and expected. The property manager seems very chill and reasonable too. No complaints!"

"Was a cute stay. Apartment is small but was plenty of room for us. There is a nice outdoor seating are and ping pong table. Small coffee shop across the street as well. There is currently construction during the day out front which would have been helpful to know. The area will be beautiful once the construction is done. Would also be helpful to have a curtain over the open window in the bathroom since it looks out into an area people pass by. We would stay here again if in the area."

"My friends and I just loved the town of Carpenteria and the Tropic Shores condo was the best place to enjoy all the town had to offer. We walked 3 blocks into town and 1 block to the beach. What a treasure. We all plan to return."

"The place was as described. Unfortunately we got some unusual cold and wet weather and given that this is really a beach stay, we didn't get to take advantage of everything. If you are a light sleeper, you may want to opt for an upstairs unit - floors are very thin and you can hear everything. Super easy check in and check out and really nice and clean."

Just a few minutes walk to the beach and the apartment was immaculate! Very nice, with on-site laundry, comfortable beds - can't think of anything to nit-pick. Great place and we'll be back."

"Perfect spot if you wanna be close to downtown and the riviera. My friend and I were here for a show at the bowl and we were able to walk home in minutes! Quiet location, super clean and modern and easy checkout instructions to boot! Love all the complimentary toothbrushes, earplugs, eye masks and shower caps. Thank you!"

Comfortable bed and staff was communicative via texf and easy to get a hold of if I had any questions or if anything needed to be fixed. Check in time is only at 4pm but that’s ok because the guests and I were exploring santa barbara so just plan accordingly"
