The home is located inside a gated community shared with two other properties. The 2 bedroom/3 bath gated house offers great ocean, coastal, and mountain views. It has a wonderful upper deck and lower deck for entertaining, grilling, and watching sunsets and dolphins passing by! Lights under the deck shine out onto the sand and the surf to illuminate the beach at night. Your private stairs lead down onto the beach and to the water. The living and dining rooms are well designed to enjoy plenty of space for relaxing and dining while offering commanding views of the Pacific Ocean. The living area is colorful and comfortable and is equipped with a Flatscreen TV, Blue Ray/DVD, Sonos Sound System, and a gas fireplace. The gourmet kitchen has all Viking and Bosch appliances, granite countertops, and a skylight to add lots of natural light. It is fully equipped for easy family meals. The house eludes a casual coastal lifestyle and is perfect for small families who enjoy luxury on the sand or a romantic getaway for that special occasion. It's small (two bedrooms), but for my wife and I it was perfect. It's finished out nicely and you can't beat the view. You should be aware that the beach at Santa Barbara has tiny tar balls. The property management company provides towelettes that make it easy to remove them. We would definitely stay here again. ##### Linda B. Nov 10, 2025 Liked: Check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy I feel that we should be credited for some of the cleaning fee considering the coffee pot had old coffee in it, the carpets had stains, which I found Resolve in the pantry and cleaned the biggest stains myself. For that expensive price, none of that should be the case. This page will not let me upload the pictures.The beds and linens were very comfortable and nice; the couch could use some better cushions (not super comfortable) and the tv in the smaller bedroom needs a definite update. Streaming any channels was horrible. The smaller bathroom needs a new shower head due to very little water pressure and an extremely long time to heat up. The hot tub needed a new part to heat it up, which was repaired that day we called. The beach is filled with tar and the house is less than 20 yards from railroad tracks. Called at 12:30 AM when we arrived and got the answers we needed. Sent repairman for washer quickly. Offered to reimburse for my receipt for laundry- have not received the reimbursement yet. Other than the washer not working the 1st day, this was a vacation in Paradise. Stunning property and views. If I ever come back to California, I would love to stay here again. The bed linens and pillows are in dire need of updating and upgrading. I took everything off and was grateful that I brought my own. The sofa needs to be replaced as it is very uncomfortable unless you take off all cushions. Bring sleeping masks as both bedrooms are very bright in the morning. Kitchen is nice. View is lovely, of course. Funky house overall that needs workā€¦ please be aware that the public will be right out your front deck all day long. The sounds of the ocean were very relaxing and the sunsets and sunrises beautiful. Nice layout of the house and we could see the ocean from the kitchen.
