This home has incredible history - it was one of the 1st homes ever built in Santa Barbara (built in the 1800's). With our recent extensive remodel, we revamped this historical beauty to its new glory. Pet friendly ($250 pet fee). It wasn’t as well equipped as other VRBO rentals. Only two wine glasses no cheese shredded, fry pans of inexpensive quality but we made do. A very small dishwasher that would be an issue if you prepared meals in. The backyard sprinkler was set to go off at around 6:00 PM -6:30 PM. We we’re trying to enjoy the hot tub when it went off. Freaked out our little dog and she got soaked so we had to get out and dry her off. Lots of fruit flies due to the fruit trees. Drive way a little challenging to get out due to people parking on both sides of the road. It was quiet and for the most part comfortable. The indoor outdoor vibe is perfect for a couple but even better for a baby and a dog - just open the back doors and enjoy the sun. Even though it’s a small home, it feels spacious and the yard is comfortable and big! It’s clear they recently completed a thoughtful renovation - everything felt clean and new. We walked and rode bikes to lots of local shops and restaurants. The Public Market is only 10 mins away as are several coffee shops. We’d happily stay again. ##### Amanda H. Needless to say all of my expectations were met and we had the most amazing time. The house is beautifully decorated and fully equipped with everything you will need. You could literally spend your entire vacation in the spacious backyard if you wanted to but I recommend checking out everything that Santa Barbara has to offer.
