With world-renowned Butterfly Beach in one direction and the Lower Village of Montecito in the other, anything and everything is available only a few short minutes from Playa de Montecito. At this well-established enclave, feel secure and well-cared for by the friendly gate staff on the clock 24/7\. There is underground parking and an elevator to the third-floor location. The 2,100-square-foot home was updated with a modern palette while maintaining traditional appointments like volume ceilings, spacious rooms, and classic lines. The windows that frame the oceanfront views create the spectacular focal point of the main living spaces, and with an extensive book collection, there are hundreds of titles to choose from. So select a book and find a sunny spot to disappear for a while. The living room is smartly outfitted with a warming fireplace and a large flat-screen tv, offering something for everyone. The comfy love seat with an ottoman tucked into the sunset-facing corner is a front-row seat to the spectacular coastal theatre. Slide open the glass doors to truly experience oceanside living and the awe-inspiring views of the Channel Islands in the distance. Magnificent. The classic, formal dining room, in rich evergreen and cranberry hues creates a dramatic contrast to the light, cheerful kitchen where a butcher block island and culinary essentials invite every guest to be a part of making a luscious Sunday brunch, or elegant holiday meals. And with a fully outfitted cocktail bar, choose crystal goblets, champagne flutes, or vintage cordials for happy hour. Two primary suites in separate wings offer high-caliber luxury, king-size beds with plush foam toppers, and large walk-in closets. The larger of the two is a spacious room with corner seating. The part of the en suite bathroom with dual sinks and walk-in closet is open to the bedroom though the glass walk-in shower, bidet, and toilet can be closed off for privacy. With a dramatic mirrored vanity, everyone will feel like a star! A unique feature of this wing is the adjacent guest room with a queen-size bed and doors that function to create a two-room suite to keep younger guests close by. The room is cheerful and bright, offering a few children's books too! Both rooms share an ocean view balcony with a high-top table and chairs. There is a powder bath in the adjacent hall. The south-facing suite off the living room has a seating area tucked in front of a picture window, making it the perfect place for a quiet moment with the ocean's beauty right outside. An antique desk offers a cozy corner for those who need to work, while the en suite bathroom provides a shower-bathtub combination. Doors near the sitting area can also be opened to the living room, offering a circular flow in and out of this sophisticated room during waking hours. As is typical with many Santa Barbara homes, this property does not have AC. Open windows and the use of fans allow ocean breezes in to keep the house cool during hot summer months.
