Big refrigerator that works well with temperature controls. it does not freeze food like some refrigerators we have had at VRBOS Home is on a very quiet street in a beautiful safe neighborhood. Home is located away from major roads - so no road noise is heard! Brenda, the owner, is amazing and responds immediately! We ran out of toilet paper and she was so kind to drop 3 more rolls off to us! She has binder made up that gives you absolutely all information you need about house and how to operate it. Brenda also has recommendations of places to eat at - which we tried a few and she was absolutely right!!! The beds and living room furniture were comfortable, and the back yard is large, adorable, and great for hanging out. The house is easy to find, and parking in the driveway is hassle-free. We had the opportunity to stay at Casa del Sol for a family vacation in the summer of '24\. This location was great! Very close to downtown Santa Barbara and the pier, but also central to other attractions/cities in the surrounding area. Easy access to/from the 101\. The home is well sized and fit me, my wife, and my 3 teen to adult children with room to spare. There is a fire pit in the backyard that we gathered around and made s'mores. The kids also really liked the hanging chair in the living room. A couple things to know, there are lots of big windows which is nice to enjoy the views, but it lets in a lot of light in the morning. The host thoughtfully left eye masks in the bedrooms to help ensure a restful sleep. Also, because of the vaulted ceilings in the living room, the a/c had a hard time cooling down that area of the house, but there is a ceiling fan that helps with air circulation - we found the right settings between the fan and the a/c to keep that room cool without making the rest of the rooms freezing. Make sure to play around with that. We had an opportunity to meet the host, Brenda. She was very sweet, gave us suggestions on things to do, and even made a point to bring us a local publication so we could see what all was going on in town. All in all, we had a blast on our trip! Being in a comfortable space made the trip that much more enjoyable. Definitely would recommend for other travelers. ##### Paymaan S.
