Please note that the parking spot is housed in a small carriage house and suitable for 1 compact vehicle. The dimensions of the carriage house where you would park your car are 16 and 1/2 feet in length and 8 feet and 8 inches in width. The doors have to be manually opened to the carriage house. Street parking is also accessible. Alternatively, we have other units which offer a standard parking space. Our building is fully licensed for short-term rentals and located within the Santa Barbara Coastal Zone, where stays under 30 days are allowed. Many other listings in the city fall outside this zone and are not legally permitted to offer short-term stays—so hosts might decline your booking request to avoid violations. We, on the other hand, automatically confirm your reservation the moment you book. Layout is a bit quirky with entry into the kitchen, a tight bathroom, and outdoor patio access from the bedroom. Eclectic furnishings and worn carpet give the impression of a college apartment, but the space is actually quite clean. The bed and sofa are very comfortable. We would have liked plumper head pillows and another six coffee cups in the cabinet to cut down on dishwashing. The location was close to the beach and town. We parked our car and didn’t use it until we left! The apartment is super cute and clean with a nice little patio. Downtown Santa Barbara was just great with lots of very nice restaurants, bars and cultural attractions. The place was very comfortable, well equipped and very clean. Neighborhood was very nice and safe and well located near downtown and readily accessible to other parts of the Santa Barbara area. Off street park very close to the unit was quite easy.
