#### Awful place

This place was awful. Staff made us feel completely unwelcome. All they wanted was the money for the accommodation, even waking us up at night asking for it when we were told to pay upon check out. They wanted us to cancel our booking, which we did not understand. The breakfast was awful. The place dirty. They bathrooms were awful and dirty. Everything was wet, even under the roof. Did not give a lake view room, even though booking clearly showed we had booked this, then they wanted more money for this. Which we refused. The view was very nice, shame about the accommodation and staff.

We had made a reservation and when we arrived it took them about 25 minutes to figure it out. Online it said they’d charge 18$ Once we arrived. They charged us 29.50 and. 10$ key deposit. The property surroundings are full of garbage. There’s a stairs down to the lake to swim but there’s nothing but pure garbage right at the edge. They charged us for a double room and then gave us a single. We were really upset and just ended up leaving, they had horrible attitude towards us and the treatment was just not okay. We aren’t problematic or like making a scene. And hours later we realized we didn’t return the key, but we had left the country and well they kept the deposit for it and the money for a room we didn’t use. I would not recommend /: there’s a lot of places like rancho viejo that are extremely friendly and great place to swim

A hospedagem é bem simples, mas a proposta de ficar praticamente dentro do lago achei interessante... não tem banheiro nos quartos, mas isso é ok, porém acho que a água deveria ser quente nos banheiros que tem... as roupas de cama precisam ser renovadas, estão com um aspecto de muito velhas. Os quartos deveriam ter cortinas que impedissem mais a entrada de luz.

Zunächst machte alles einen wirklich schönen Eindruck. Darauf, dass die Zimmer und sanitären Bereiche minimalem Standard trotz hohem Preis entsprechen hatten wir uns eingestellt. Allerdingt verkehrte zu unserer Reisezeit dort der El Salvadorianische "Ballermann-Tourismus" ohne jegliche Rücksicht auf Verluste. Die Unterkunft bietet spezielle Party-Packages an bei denen ein Zimmer tagsüber bis 1 Uhr nachts gemietet werden kann. Die Leute warfen Zigaretten, Bierdosen und Verpackungsmüll in den See, eigene Musikanlagen wurden mitgebracht und auf voller Lautstärke bis zu Sonnenaufgang betrieben und als Ausländer wurden wir von den Gästen fremdenfeindlich behandelt. Alles sehr traurig. Besser wären wir im Hostel Captain Morgan nebenan aufgehoben gewesen. Dort war das Publikum internationaler und respektvoller. Obwohl wir beide sehr gutes Spanisch sprechen, hat man einfach ignoriert welche Absprachen wir bezüglich des Frühstücks getroffen hatten. Wir haben es nicht mehr ausgehalten und sind früher abgereist. Obwohl wir Anspruch auf Teilerstattung hatten, wurde diese nicht gewährt. Wir hatten aber nach einer schlaflosrn Nacht auch keine Energie mehr dies einzufordern. Leider eine der schlechtesten Erfahrungen die wir in bislang 78 betreisten Ländern gemacht haben. Wir hoffen, dass es außerhalb der Saison dort erträglicher ist.

Great place to stay and chill by the lake. The owner and the staff were super friendly and accommodate all my needs. The Jet ski were very affordable and so much fun. Food and drinks were great. Highly recommended if you are visiting the area. Hope to come visit again in the future.

Es una var musuval, con buenas vistas, pero no es un lugar para dormir, muchísimo ruido a todas horas y los baños están sucios. Lo peor tener el boom boom a todas horas como si tuvieras el altavoz en la habitación

#### Good budget place with good views

Nice place with good views great value for the money. At night the wind got a little loud but it was not that big a deal

El lugar es bonito pero al personal le falta atención al cliente, mi pareja y yo no fuimos exigentes pero por cada cosa que ordenabamos regresaban 3 veces porque llevaban todo por partes y lento, yo no pude descansar por el ruido en la planta baja

Los cuartos son muy piqueños I si te quesas en la planta baja no se puede dormir se escucha todo los pasos horible para dormir alli para ir a comer es muy bien la comida exselente
