Arrived at the location and saw gang graffiti and gang members outside an alley we had to drive through to get to the apartment. All parking options were full. The apartment area next to this one is dirty, crowded, and seemed unsafe. Directions actual take you to those apartments. Messaged host immediately to ask for support and never got a response (4 days later and nothing). Expedia/Vrbo chat just say they will ask the host to contact me and have no other support. We couldn’t stay here with kids so had to find a motel last minute (middle of the night) and pay even more out of pocket. We booked a few days before our trip and would have liked more transparency and communication before the booking and after booking as well.
