Overall a nice hotel. Too far away from everything. The breakfast in the morning was below average. The rooftop bar was very cool but really expensive.

Overall a good place to stay. Room to improve
Great location and close to some brilliant local restaurants. Our room had a brilliant terrace and looked out over the road. Rooms were a bit dated and beds reasonably comfortable, but airconditioning rather ineffective. Everything felt clean and safe so no issues with these key items. Breakfast was the same everyday, which lacked variety so got a but repetitive.

We stayed 4 nights here in late Sept early Oct 2023. We really picked a gem here. After seeing the crowds in Sorrento town, this hotel located just outside of that madness really was a welcome oasis. We had a fantastic room on the top floor with a terrace and two lounge chairs all overlooking Mt Vesuvius. The room was very clean, spacious, modern bathroom, great rain forest show head. There is a rooftop bar on the top floor with great drinks and views. We took a day from our travels during our vacation to just relax at the hotel by the pool. There is a restaurant near the pool with excellent pizza and sandwiches and they will bring you a beer/drink as you relax by the pool. The pool water was cold, however after a day of visiting Herculaneum and Mt Vesuvius at 85 degree weather it was really a welcome plunge. The breakfast was a buffet served in a nice restaurant, table cloths, finer dishes, etc. There is a spacious garden in the back of the hotel with lemon/lime trees and other plants that you can walk thru. The entire staff at this hotel are very nice and accommodating. The Majestic Palace is about a 15 min walk to the very overcrowded Sorrento town and about 8 min walk from the St Agnello Circumvesuviana train station.

Stayed here as part of our honeymoon and would return in the future. The hotel is prettier than in the pictures online. Our balcony overlooking Sorrento was breathtaking. The room was very spacious and the hotel staff were extremely helpful.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and had an excellent experience. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast every morning was perfect. The hotel was really pretty and our view out the balcony was spectacular. On our final night there was a fireworks show down at the water which was fun to see from our balcony. Would stay here again.

Great Hotel
Stylish traditional hotel. Rooms good, serviced everyday. Fabulous roof top bar. Friendly helpful staff. Located 25 minutes walk from Sorrento but a couple of bars/restaurants close by if you want to stay close. Was a nice relaxing stay

The staff at the front desk were friendly and welcoming. The cleaning services were were also great, every day they would provide you with new towels and a cleaned-up room. Hotel lobby and rooms were both clean and updated. The rooftop dry martini bar is fun to hang out at, often with live music as well. The walk to the Sorrento city center was a bit longer than expected (25-30 minutes). Expect a little bit of choppy wi-fi in the rooms at times. We would recommend this hotel if you are looking for something outside of Sorrento at a fair price.

Anna the person that works at the reception was really nice with our family, always helping and with a great smile, I went with my 1 year old baby and she help us with all our needs. The rest of the staff wasn’t friendly, not even the manager.

Majestic Palace is an absolutely amazing place to stay. It’s just outside the busy streets of Sorrento so you can enjoy a relaxing stay. The staff are incredible and are always available to help you. I needed to see a doctor during my stay and the hotel has one they call and send right to your room! We couldn’t have been more pleased with our time at Majestic Palace. The pool is beautiful and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

Large comfortable room. Staff were friendly and breakfast was excellent. 15-20 minute walk to the heart of Sorrento. Lots of restaurants and bars at the end of the street also. Well connected to train and bus stops.

Great property with a luxurious rooftop bar. Rooms are beautiful and the staff are friendly attentive and courteous. The only downside is you have to pay a cab 20 euros every trip but we walked it many times with no worries even late at night.

Bartenders were very hospitable, groundskeeper showed us around the garden which he manages of vegs, herbs & fruit planting. Waitress/waiter in the restaurant were very polite and on point picking up after us. Sky bar was spectacular with the view, drinks and service. Had a great stay at Majestic Palace.

Loved everything about hotel - including beautiful sea view from 4th floor balcony. Only negative had to insist I was given an itemized bill for approval and signature after first dinner in the dining room. Second time no problem different head waiter. Roof top and terrace bars bills presented for signature automatically.

Outdated, unclean, chipped paint, faucet doesn’t stop dripping and horrible bedding. Far from the beach, shared balcony with no privacy. It is less than two star!

Really attractive hotel with lovely lobby and restaurant. Hotel staff especially Ana very very helpful. We booked a superior room, it had a bigger balcony but was a bit small. We had great views of Sorrento, sea and hills. I did have an issue with noise from the hotel lift in room 501, the lift shared two walls with the room and it was a constant irritating mechanical whine. The staff very kindly offered me other rooms and unfortunately I choose one where I could still hear the lift!

Lovely hotel
The hotel is very clean and in a nice quite area but still very close to the centre of Sorrento. The pool area and bars are very nice. The roof top bar in particular is fabulous. The staff are every attentive and food was good also. The food is not cheap and drinks are a lot more expensive thank in there city. Rooms are a bit outdated but very clean Lovely stay and would ho back
