Mas Molera is an old Catalan farmhouse from the 11th century, fully refurbished. It is located within the Natural Park of the Volcanic Area of La Garrotxa. The house is surrounded by very old oak trees, fields and meadows. La Casa Pairal Breath the tra­di­tional atmos­phere of the cata­lan coun­try houses. \*\* 5 doubles rooms in suite.\*\* Casa Pairal is located in the main entrance of the farm-​house and is divided in two floors. Here you can breath the tra­di­tional atmos­phere of the cata­lan coun­try houses, since it is where our fam­ily ances­tors lived. You will see old oak beams ceil­ings and typ­i­cal stone seat­ing win­dows named “fes­te­jadors”, where tra­di­tion says young cou­ples used to court. Casa Pairal has got five dou­ble rooms en suite, each one with dis­tinc­tive fea­tures. One room (Lavanda) is in the ground floor and the other four upstairs. The five rooms are named after med­i­c­i­nal plants of the area, since they were typ­i­cally dried and kept in all country-​houses. The ground floor also contains: \*Dining/​Living-​room with a nice fire­place and a com­fort­able and relax­ing cor­ner for read­ing or watch­ing TV. \*A well– equipped kitchen with fridge, dish­washer and all nec­es­sary kitchen utensils. \*One toi­let and washbasin. \*Lavanda –his­toric– located on the ground floor. La casa es ideal para disfrutar de unos días con amigos, tiene dos espacios polivalentes, uno de ellos con una excelente barbacoa, totalmente equipado con sillas, mesas, sillones, etc, etc. El entorno es precioso, y a solo 10 minutos de Olot, lo que nos facilitaba las compras para las comidas. El trato de la propietaria muy cordial, nos ha agasajado con pastel casero y unos riquísimos huevos frescos del gallinero que está ahí mismo. Si bien no fuimos con niños, los espacios están acondicionados y equipados para que los ellos también disfruten de una estadía maravillosa. 100 % recomendable!!! ##### Rosa A. El lugar es ideal para pasar unos dias rodeados de familia y/o amigos, dispone de buenas instalaciones y menaje de todo tipo. El entorno es ideal para que los niños jueguen y corran y la piscina muy segura. También dispone de una sala polivalente muy amplia donde refugiarse si llueve o hace frio. El trato con la propietaria es excelente, siempre dispuesta a ayudar y hacer la estancia lo más comoda y agradable posible. A nosotros nos ayudó mucho con los preparativos de la celebración poniendo a disposición del catering todo lo que estaba en su mano. Agradecerte personalmente Roser, tu colaboración para que ese dia tan importante para nosotros y nuestra familia fuese un éxito. Dec 9, 2014 #### Silvia Acabamos de pasar los días 6, 7 y 8 de diciembre en la casa rural Mas Molera, hemos pasado unos días estupendos con los niños, la dueña de la casa es atenta y muy amable, la casa es confortable con todo tipo de menaje necesario, los exteriores de la casa ideales para jugar los niños. Además la zona es preciosa, en la Zona Volcánica de la Garrotxa, hemos visitado Besalú, Camprodom, Santa Pau, la Fageda d´en Jordà y el parque de animales en Molló. Recomiendo alojarse en está casa y visitar todos estos lugares, nosotros si tenemos la ocasión volveremos sin duda alguna. ##### Silvia D. Somos un grupo de amigos con niños y tanto los adultos como los niños hemos disfrutado mucho. El lugar es precioso, rodeado de montañas. Una maravilla. La casa muy limpia y acojedora. Incluso te preparan las cunas de bebés con unos saquitos súper monos donde duermen muy agusto. La piscina una delicia. Roser es muy simpática y se preocupa de organizar las habitaciones de la mejor manera para todos estemos lo mejor posible. Los niños han dormido todos juntos en una habitación y han estado felices. This review was submitted before 2018 and has not been verified. ### 8/10 Good #### FLORALIA Sep 1, 2012 #### Excelente Como ya han dicho, la casa es agradable y está en un entorno alejado del bullicio de poblaciones, enclavada entre lugares de obligada excursión, como Beget, Olot, Sant Joan les Fonts, Castellfollit, rutas de los volcanes o Besalú . Las habitaciones son pequeñas aunque muy acogedoras y tienen lo necesario (sólo echamos de menos un televisor en la habitación) ; los baños son justos de espacio, con un plato de ducha, aunque cuando se va de excursiones no suele hacer falta más . Los desayunos, como ilustro con la foto, son magníficos: tostadas recién hechas con tomate y aceite de oliva, embutido variado de la zona, bollería casera, mantequilla y mermelada, café recién hecho para cada mesa... Fuimos en pareja y, quizás por eso, el único pequeño "inconveniente" que encontramos fue que en la casa había en esos días unas familias con niños, y algunos padres bajaban con ellos sobre las 8 de la mañana y salían a jugar y a hablar en voz muy alta, justo debajo de nuestra ventana, cuando la casa dispone de un amplio espacio alrededor. Nosotros, cuando llegábamos de cenar fuera o tomar algo alguna noche, intentábamos no hacer el mínimo ruido, pero entendemos que no a todo el mundo puede exigírseles la misma sensibilidad o educación... Por supuesto, la dueña y trabajadores de la casa, de nada de esto tienen culpa, y ellos, al igual que nosotros, entienden que un niño debe jugar y disfrutar, pero siempre bajo el control paterno; así, no debería permitirse que un niño esté embadurnando constantemente los cristales con las manos sucias, dejando las puertas abiertas (entran moscas), o arrojando suciedad al plato de comida de los gatos. LUGAR CON MUCHO ENCANTO. Estuvimos en uno de los apartamentos para 4 personas. El trato de Roser es muy agradable, te da la información necesaria para conocer parajes preciosos de la zona volcánica, además de buenos consejos dónde comer . Somos una família con dos niños pequeños, de 8 y 5 años, y los niños se encontraron muy cómodos en todo momento. La " iaia" también. Casa rural de verdad, escondida atravesando un tunel muy cerquita de Begudà. Instalaciones limpias, todo bien cuidado. Todo lo necesario disponible en la casa para estar cómodos. PAISAJES VOLCÁNICOS muy aconsejables para conocer por la zona de la Garrotxa, además de pueblos con encanto, como Santa Pau. COMIDA , conocida como COCINA VOLCÁNICA, de gran calidad. Además tuvimos un pequeño problema de salud, y tuvimos que irnos una noche antes, y todo fueron facilidades por parte de Roser. Inten taremos volver, ni de lejos pudimos hacer todas las excursiones que queríamos. Así que volveremos a intentar una nueva escapada.
