"We enjoyed staying at this resort. We stayed in one of the larger rooms in the main lodge. The place was huge! One bathroom, washer/dryer, two beds, a living room, kitchen and a perfect balcony with a view of the lake and mountains. "Wonderful apartment. However be careful booking ‘premium apartment’ as we booked the 1356 sq ft apartment and were given keys for the 700 sq ft apartment. No staff on duty when we arrived so spent first night in smaller apartment, which was very disappointing as we only had 3 nights and had driven for 2 days to get there. Otherwise highly recommend "

"This property is beautiful, however be aware that you need to pay for every little thing once on site. If you run out of soap, dishwasher pods, want clean towels, or in our case, need more toilet paper, it all costs extra. I don’t mind having to pay for some things, but I’ve never been asked to pay for toilet paper anywhere else in the world and I have to say, it slightly soured my experience. The property is beautiful and the staff were great, I just think for the price I should not have to...

"Absolutely beautiful scenery and very close to Berchtesgaden hiking, lake and other points of interest. The room itself is spacious and very modern, in contrast to the outside of the hotel which looks like most of the charming and traditional Alpine houses that are common to the region. "Homebound is a brand new building in a nice area in Bad Goisern. Self checkin and parking is very easy. Rooms are modern style and very comfortable. Balcony facing the mountains was a plus and a great place to sit, relax an enjoy the view. The town is very small and quite so do not expect much life at night. Pizza place nextdoor was good and with decent prices. This location is perfect to visit many great sites at a very short distance, but you definitely would need a car to get the most out of the area. If you travel with family, this is an excelent choice. One tip, we traveled in october with nice weather, but if you go inthe summer and need AC, make sure to book one of the top floor units that offer this option. I hope this helps. "

"The Kempinski Hotel was a marvelous choice! The rooms were spacious with outstanding views. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom large, the separate his & her closets made getting settled easy. The property was beautiful & well kept. The views were amazing! The staff couldn't have been more attentive. Shout out to our bartender Mathus who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and special. All of the staff were professional, friendly, spoke good English, and were very helpful. We had a car which made getting around easy but I noticed several guests had taxi or driver pick up for rides to Salzburg. The property was so lovely I would just stay there next time and appreciate the views and trails, spa, etc. Very luxurious. "
