I just finished my stay in 4D2 and I can't say enough about how wonderful this place was! The view of the gulf from the lanai and master bedroom was incredible. The unit is well stocked with eating and cooking utensils/items. All of the fixtures and furniture appeared to be high end and modern. The only thing even remotely negative I could possibly say would be about the murphy bed as it would be great for kids but adults may find it a little uncomfortable. The amenities in the complex were outstanding and the shell cleaning station really came in handy! The complex was quiet and there was plenty of space to enjoy the beach. The entire complex is amazing and the other guests/owners were all so pleasant. The location is fantastic. We visited a few local restaurants on the island and took a few trips back over the causeway to Ft Myers for dining and mini golf. I will definitely be back to Ocean's Reach and highly recommend unit 4D2 or really any other unit within the complex! #SanibelStrong ##### Beverly K. Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything in this unit seemed brand new and was very clean. The property description was accurate and actually better than the pictures. The property managers were very helpful and friendly. Loved that we could rent bikes and umbrella on site. The location on the island is perfect and proximity to the beach is awesome!! We loved it so much we booked for next year. I would recommend spray for the no see ums- that was the only thing we didn’t like. We also had the best food while we were there!! We ate at Gramma Dots, Doc Fords, The Timbers (twice!), Rosalita’s (so fun because it was Cinco de Mayo!), The Green Flash on Captiva and Tutti Pazzi. Would also recommend Captiva Cruises. An access ramp at the elevator to the parking area would be ideal… other than that, the unit was awesome and the location can’t be beat. The pool was perfect and the beach access was directly downstairs from the unit. Given the destruction surrounding the area, this is definitely a diamond in the rough.
