Gulf front with an obstructed ocean view & ground level. Our fully equipped condo has been completely remodeled with two bedrooms and two tile shower/bathtubs bathrooms. We know you'll love the beautifully decorated interiors and the beachfront location on the convenient east end of Sanibel Island. The condo is incredibly bright and spacious and sleeps up to 6 people. Loggerhead Cay 501 is on the ground floor of a four- story building. You will have a dedicated parking spot right outside the condos front door. One of the special features we love about this unit is the ground floor screened in lanai that has a door directly to the beach. After a long day of enjoying Sanibel or just relaxing at the beach, it's nice to relax and enjoy the sound of the waves crashing ashore while watching the sunset. Additionally, there is an Olympic-size heated ocean facing pool, a seashell washing station, two pickleball and one tennis/pickleball court, shuffleboard, community outdoor grills, outdoor dining tables next to grills, and of course, the beach is your backyard. It's all about location, as they say, and we are located two miles from Sanibel's famous lighthouse beach and 1 1/2 miles from Jerry's grocery store. Sanibel has two public golf courses nearby. Right outside the front door, there are 25 miles of stunning shared-use paths for you to enjoy while biking or walking. LOGGERHEAD CAY, 501 is just a few minutes from the Causeway, local restaurants, and great shopping. We loved our stay at this beautifully redone condo, which sits on the ground level right next to the beach. It is furnished with everything you need (beach towels, beach chairs and umbrellas, wagon for toting stuff, etc.). The views are fantastic! We saw dolphins nearly every day. The pool is large for Sanibel properties and the temperature was just right for our February stay. The owners were friendly and easy to communicate with. The condo was absolutely wonderful. The hosts were immediately available if needed and very kind. The place is furnished beautifully and incredibly comfortable. It is sad to see all the destruction that remains from Hurricane Ian but it is also very heartwarming to see how much of the island is back and as special as ever. This condo was by far the best one we have ever stayed at. Freshly renovated with nice modern furnishings, best access to the beautiful beach with a priceless view from living room, master and lanai. The host was incredibly accommodating and responsive. We stayed over Easter and I have little ones who were very concerned the Easter bunny wouldn’t be able to find them. Not only did the Mary offer to intercept my packages for me, she also put little Easter decorations around the condo which made my kids so happy! The condo is close to so many things, we barely used our car and just bikes everywhere. The beach is pristine and not too busy which was great. We walked out the patio doors everyday and were set up on the beach within the next 3minutes. Such a great location!! Thank you to the hosts who thought of everything! Corner unit on ground floor provided excellent access to the beach. We really appreciated the beach umbrella, chairs, towels and toys. Well stocked with other general supplies. Just had to replenish a few. Great to have washer and dryer. Slight problem when we first arrived -- fridge circuit breaker had tripped and the ice in the freezer had melted; was dripping on the floor -- was easily corrected after a quick call to Keith. Mary was in constant communication about the state of things on the property and around the island as Milton hit one week before our arrival. The condo was spared any damage. The property was in better condition than most around the island. The view from our first floor over the dune to the beach was clean and unobstructed and beautiful. The window wall in the living room allowed a clear view of the beauty outside instead of a filtered view through the screened porch as it was adjacent the master bedroom. Every incidental was taken care of in the unit and at the property. We highly recommend the unit. ##### Bubba I. Where do I even start? Our experience at Loggerhead Cay #501 was nothing short of outstanding. The place is absolutely beautiful. Having recently been remodeled, it was clean, very well furnished, and what an excellent location! You can't get a unit any closer to the beach! And being on the first floor was a first for us. We've usually booked places with a few flights of stairs and quite a walk to the beach. And while we are still relatively young, it was very nice to NOT have to deal with flights of stairs or wait for the elevator every time we went in and out. The beach locker with chairs, umbrella, cart, etc. was a wonderful added bonus! It saved us having to bring our own! It was so nice to have the sand washing station between the room and the beach. It was great to be free of sand when we got back to the room. The kitchen is very well-supplied with about everything you'll need. And there are plenty of extra linens and pillows in the bedrooms. Anything we needed from Keith or Mary was provided in an extremely timely manner and with the utmost professionalism. They never made us feel like we were bothering them and always welcomed our questions.
