There is a queen bed, leather chair, dining table and chairs, a few books and some fun games. The bathroom has a clawfoot tub, walk in shower, and vanity sink The windows face farm/woodland views and there is a 1/2 mile woodland trail out the back door. This studio is clean with awesome artesian well water. You can park 10 feet from the door and pets are welcome. (There is a $15/day /pet fee.) The space Quail Hollow is a suite with a private entrance and parking. The property is shared with the host located in a separate home. It is peaceful and quite, a perfect city get away. There is a 1/2 mile trail that winds through a wetland seep and an old growth Cedar grove for your use and pet walking (bring boots during the wet season). There is a outside patio with a table, chairs and fire pit, kindling and wood are provided. The 10 acre property is adjacent to a "locally grown" farm stand that sells fresh veggies, eggs, and other farm novelties to take home. Welches is 8 miles east on Hwy 26 where you'll find restaurants, live music and trail entrances to the Mt Hood National Forest. I have maps for you to take out on the trail and will be happy to recommend day hikes for you to explore.The Salmon Huckelberry Wilderness and Mt Hood Nat. Forest are just a short drive, with hiking, biking and skiing options. The Resort at the Mountain is nearby where you can golf surrounded by wilderness views. There is plenty of fine dining and live music in the nearby town of Welches, more info is provided in the welcome booklet in the studio. Guest access The entire studio is open for your use. Feel free to wander the property at your leisure, especially the trail just outside your room. Other things to note No smoking is permitted inside the facility, there is an outdoor area for that. No parties or events are permitted. Well behaved pets are welcome . Please bring a bed for your pets and keep them off the bed. Pets are not to be left alone in the unit at any time. It had most everything we needed, and there were some nice, unexpected touches, like the cornhole game and the excellent tea selection -- even Bengal Spice, my favorite! Barb had a fire expertely built for us in the chimena -- one match was all it needed and we had a nice evening in the glider enjoying the flame. There's a big grassy area to play with dogs (including the Barb's sweet dog Stevie), and the trail on the propety was lovely, too, with some large, old-growth cedars along a small creek and many other native flora to enjoy: trillium, deer and sword fern, false soloman's seal, salal, vine maple, vanilla leaf, trailing blackberry, oxalis, and inside-out flower (I think -- we were there in late Aug, so all the spring plants were long past blooming and my plant ID ability is only so-so) were some that I noted. Barb works hard to make sure guests are taken care of and happy -- if there are any issues, she will attend to them right away. She is a solid host and a very nice person! ##### Erika T. It was calm and had everything we needed for a nice, simple stay. No tv, but we didn’t want one! It’s just nice to be present in the stillness that surrounds you there. There is wi-fi, so we did watch a movie one night on an iPad.
