Sandy Ground beach has a number of nice beach restaurants and bars a short walk away. The junior suite was an inviting sight after a long day of travel. I thoroughly enjoyed the spacious balcony offering a scenic view of the salt pond. The room was very clean and fully equipped with a kitchenette. Yes, the property charm includes expected touches of being on the local side of the island. No different than an affordable hotel in Florida or Rhode Island. Water pressure was sufficient for a good hot shower at the end of a day of exploring. Staying at Edward's Guesthouse provides the option of keeping it simple with the beach across the street and restaurants a 5 min walk in both directions. There is also the option to rent a car for days of exploring and adventure. Everything you need to soak in Anguilla is at Edward's Guesthouse. Most treasured were the folks managing the hotel greeting each guest like a returning old friend. My first night, I joined them down the way at the Love Shack for good company, good drinks and good vibes. Very clean. Great customer service-the people of Anguilla have been some of the most kindest, friendliest people I have ever come across in my years of traveling.
