Not happy, website shows that it is fully refundable. I had a 2 night stay, checked out the next day due to family emergency, when I checked out I informed them that they will not need to clean the room due to I didn’t sleep there nor use any toiletries. I asked if I could atleast get refund for the 2nd night since I was understanding of taking a room they could’ve given to someone else so I was ok with taking a loss with one night stay. Front desk said to reach out to Expedia since I booked through them and once they talk to Expedia they would refund me. Expedia reached out to them multiple times with no response. I called today and he took my number and I told him what went on he said he would check his email yet never called me back or answered when I called back. Such a disappointment, why say I can get refund but not give it back? I would much rather have a full refund considering I didn’t stay at all. Won’t be going back, that’s for sure.

Was a nice little Motel, lobby and breakfast area was new and clean not many options for the breakfast except pancakes and cereal, toast and plain bagels. Room was clean floor was a little sketch bathroom was small and didn’t have any hot water for shower but luke warm water. Value for the money yea stay again most likely no.

Stayed one night, wasn’t a bad property and was super close to Cedar Point. Would probably have to stay here again during peak season to get a full experience stay of the hotel and area around it.

This a VERY well run property. The pond/lagoon in the back look GREAT at sunrise/sunset. The property is just a 2 minute walk from the road that leads to the entrance to Cedar Point. About 2 miles east of the property there are some beautiful bird watching/hiking trails something or rather Marsh.

Older facility but fine for the price.
Hotel was fine for an inexpensive night stop. With 3 guys traveling for an event it was great to have 3 double beds for the price. Beds were not bad and front desk clerk was very friendly.

Rest easy
The service was excellent. We were able to check in before heading into Cedar Point (so before noon). The staff was very helpful and friendly. The main room was outdated but very clean. The shower may or may not have been clean...it was so old it was hard to tell if it was dirty or just extremely outdated and impossible to make look clean. We skipped the shower. The breakfast was very good with a good variety of cold foods such as yogurt, cereal, bagels, donuts, hard boiled eggs and a pancake machine. Again, the staff was very helpful so unless you want to lounge in the bath tub this is a good place to rest your head and the end of along day.

Honestly, you get what you pay for. It was cheap and close to cedar point so that’s great. Easy check in and check out, staff was nice. The bed was pretty comfy. This is obviously an older place they are updating. But the floors were so dirty they stained my feet and there were ants on the floor by the nightstand. The phone was also gross looking and stained. It was okay for the night, but I don’t think I’ll be back for awhile.

Didn’t have a shower curtain in my room. Was told my reservations wasn’t booked for what I had and had to argue. Told them I’d be there super early in the morning and the lobby was closed and had to call 4 times to get someone to answer and give me room key.

Sorry for inconvenience, Our check in time is at 4.00 PM, and when I was made aware about of your late arrival time, there was instruction to call the number, I received only one phone call and I came to front desk. For missing shower curtain, I had no idea about it, may be taken away for washing and replacement was missed out, and we are sorry for it.

The property is very close to Cedar Point and inexpensive! The one downside was a sketchy swamp behind the property and the parking lot! Be careful and be aware and beware especially at night because the parking lot doesn’t have lighting and you might come across some creatures!

The property is very close to Cedar Point and inexpensive! There is a swamp behind the property and the parking lot that is a little sketchy so I would be aware and beware of any creatures especially at night with no parking lot lighting!

You get what you pay for!
Price was good. Online pictures a bit deceptive and was not as nice as pictures showed. Room was clean but smelled moldy and musty. Bathroom curtain and towels had stains on them that grossed me out. We tried to open window to air out and found that window was broke and didn’t lock.

Nice stay at Cedar Grove
This was a nice place for what was advertised as no frills. The new owners are clearly making an effort to clean and redo this place. The service was friendly and helpful. They did indeed have a mini microwave and fridge, the room was clean and they did have a small continental breakfast as advertised. We didn't plan to spend much time in the room, so this was perfect for sleeping and showering at low cost for our days at Cedar Point.

Very close to Cedar Point and five minutes from a Kroger. The room had a refrigerator and microwave which was very convenient because we got back from Cedar Point around midnight and all restaurants are closed in the area.

The staff were very nice and welcoming. The property is very dated and needs a lot of work. It looks like there have been touch ups on top of touch ups, but nothing has actually been renovated in a long time. We went there for 2 nights because we were going to Cedar Point, and it was good enough for us because we were just there to sleep. There was also a train that went by pretty frequently that was not very pleasant as well.

Everything was great. We had a few issues with the hot water in the room. Other than that, the staff was always very friendly and the room was clean. It was a fabulous stay for those going to Cedar Point. Literally a four minute drive away.

Seemed like the sounds of the bugs were very loud at night and I live in the country. The beds were hard as rocks. Room appeared clean but if you looked alittle closer in corners and drawers it couldve been better. I dont beleive it was worth the price. More like a 59.00 a night hotel at best.

Hotel staff very friendly, helpful with my early checkout and provided a list of taxi services for Sandusky, as Uber is limited in the area. No problem getting to the 4am Amtrak to CLE.

Good place for the price
Not a bad place to stay for a cheaper price. Staff is nice. Rooms have been updated in some aspects and were clean. Beds weren’t made every day but we got clean towels and trash was picked up each day. Pool was clean and nice to swim in. Beds are ok, a little harder than mine but not bad.
