The Neighborhood Magpie Manor sits at the base of Schweitzer Mountain on Granite View Drive, a quiet gravel road that winds through North Idaho’s rugged beauty. Know Before You Go – Magpie Manor Details We want your stay to be as comfortable and stress-free as possible. Here are a few things to keep in mind before you arrive: \- Train Noise – Magpie Manor overlooks a peaceful valley... that sometimes includes a passing train. It's part of the charm of North Idaho, but sound machines are provided in case you're a light sleeper. \- Winter Driving – Our road (Granite Ridge) is 0.4 miles of mountain gravel, and it can get icy in winter. We recommend AWD or 4WD vehicles when the snow flies. \- No Pets – As much as we love furry friends, this home is a pet-free space to maintain comfort for all future guests. \- No Smoking – For the safety and cleanliness of the home, smoking of any kind is not allowed anywhere on the property. \- Quiet Hours – This is a peaceful mountain community.
