In summer, Sandpoint rejoices lake living. Marina slip is available at additional cost, or rent the 24' Cobalt which includes a free marina slip. Our concierge services can stock the home with all local and favored food and beverages and help you make your stay at Seasons an incredibly wonderful vacation. \*\*Note: Each year, on September 18th OR the 3rd Sunday in September (whichever is later), the Army Corps of Engineers begins dropping the water level of Lake Pend Oreille until ultimately reducing it by a total of 10-12 feet. Around the 4th week in September ALL boat docks and boat lifts on the lake become inaccessible and unusable, as the water completely recedes back from the shoreline leaving just bare ground beneath the docks. We actually had to switch units from this booking because of a scheduling conflict. But overall, the resort is very nice and has a wonderful view of the water. Just to let you know, it is on the other side of the train tracts that run through the town and they are VERY active. Luckily, the trains weren't too loud because you are not facing them. Location is good to beach and downtown. Few things to note: Trains will keep you up at night, there are a lot of trains and this property is adjacent to tracks. Master needs a king bed, not a queen. Back bedrooms area adjacent to hallways and need blackout blinds. The "step up" platform in living room is awkward. ##### David C. Only one minor issue we believe a typo on instructions sent us to the third floor for no apparent reason. The property location was perfect with being able to walk to town, walk/bike the trails, enjoy the lake or pool or a small drive up to Schweitzer. .
