Close to downtown Macon. Unfortunately many stores and restaurants are closed on Mondays in France. Still found a very good restaurant for lunch which was offering the famous Lyon cuisine.

Almost 5 stars this time

We have stayed here before and the hotel has lookled a little "tired". We had a a refurbished room and it was small but good. Sound proofing from the nearby TGV railway line is excellent so we were surprised that we could here a loud TV until 1am. Main disappointment was the sun loungers around the small pool - only 4 and 2 were broken. More loungers are promised for 2014. We will stay there again - excellent breakfast for the price.

Bien pour une escale

les chambres sont petites mais le lit confortable , salle d' eau rénovée ,.Heureusement , les trains ne circulent pas la nuit car l' insonorisation est superficielle .Problème de réception wifi dans la chambre . Personnel sympathique et accueillant .Bien pour une escale mais pas pour un séjour (loin du centre ville de Macon ) .

Fine for breaking a journey for one night.

The Receptionist could not have been more helpful or cheerful. The bedroom was clean, basic and had a shower/toilet washbasin. It was a no smoking hotel, but the corridors still smelt badly of nicotine and the bedroom smelt as though unsuccesful attempts had been made to iradicate the odour. The food in the restaurant was very nice although it was a serve yourself restaurant which was a bit confusing, especially as the menu had two prices depending on how many courses you had. There were no tea/cofffee making facilities in the room (it did not advertise them,so this was no surprise) but no vending machine in the reception either. Our helpful host made us some coffee on request. The TV only worked on a few channels - the others kept freezing.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed here - and value for money is good:secure parking, swimming pool and good breakfast. Bedrooms are a little tired. While we booked a room with air con, the initial room offered did not have that facility - but the receptionist quickly offered us a room with air con. We will stay there again.

Wij waren op doorreis en wilden een hotel met een zwembad, zodat onze kinderen lekker een verfrissende duik konden nemen aan het eind van de 1e reisdag. Dat is goed gelukt! Het hotel was helemaal volgeboekt, maar dat hebben we niet gemerkt (rustig bij het zwembad en het ontbijtbuffet). We hebben 2 kamers geboekt die tegenover elkaar lagen. De ene kamer had een verouderde badkamer, maar wel een airco. De andere kamer had een moderne badkamer, maar geen airco en wat vervelender is, het was een kamer waarin mocht worden gerookt! De receptionist heeft een apparaat neergezet om de lucht te zuiveren, en dat is grotendeels ook gelukt, maar ergens kun je het nog wel ruiken. Jammer. We hebben verder een prima verblijf gehad.

Lhôtel se situe au beau milieu d'une Zona d'activité commerciale dense sur un boulevard très passant. Les chambres sont assez bien insonorisés par rapport à la nuisance sonore; La chambre est modeste et correspond à la catégorie d'hôtel de 1ère catégorie (étroitesse/ salle de bain minuscule)L'accueil est très sympathique. J'ai apprécié la piscine extérieure parfaite après une longue route. Les draps de bain ont été aimablement prêtés.Je trouve le prix pour la prestation globale trop élevé:. Un hôtel de passage....

Mauvaises, l'environnement de l'hôtel (zone commerciale) n'est pas propice pour le confort de celui-ci et le coût du petit déjeuner est surdimmensionné par rapport à la qualité. Cet hôtel reste un ets vétuste : micro salle de bain avec problème d'étanchéité. Cpdt la propreté des chambres et la qualité d'accueil du personnel sont satisfaisants.

Best Hôtel à sancé (71)

Facile d'accès depuis l'autoroute en venant de Bourg en Bresse. Dans une zone où d'autres hôtels et restaurant. Chien accepté mais participation demandée (non mentionnée sur le site). Chambre de petite taille. Idem pour salle d'eau avec petite douche. Il y a un restaurant mais pas de carte affichée ni de menu. Un bon point pour le petit déjeuner. Mauvais fonctionnement des 2 points d'électricité tête de lit : pas possible d'allumer le soir, le matin ça remarchait (chambre 20). En affichant le tarif par chien, les menus (transparence) et en faisant un minimum d'entretien des prises mériterait mieux.
