It is beautifully furnished, with bright colors and dark wood, hard wood floors, and virtually everything one could desire to enjoy a get-away in our lovely hamlet of Cambria. Enjoy gorgeous ocean views, wiFi, wood-burning fireplace, Two TV's with DVD players, BBQ, front and back decks, and, your dog is welcome, too! On the ground level is a one-car garage, a bedroom with queen bed, and a den with queen sofa sleeper, TV and DVD player, and a small fridge, microwave & coffeemaker. Set up as it's own little studio with bath, and ocean view deck, through the sliding glass doors of the den. Upstairs has two bedrooms and baths, kitchen, deck in front, and enclosed patio in back with BBQ and lounging furniture. From this patio, there is street access, as this property is street-to-street. It gets lovely morning sun, and has shady afternoons. The kitchen is perfect for preparing fine meals on the 5 burner stove, a convection and warming oven, and plenty of prep space. The home is in a residential area and does have a sea view from a distance. The backyard is fenced for dogs, which was nice. While it may not be close to the ocean you have beatiful views of the ocean and can always hear the crashing waves. The house was so clean I really couldn't believe it. Loved it- hope we can stay again someday! Left a list of small maintenance things with office but did forget to mention the bath faucet in primary bathroom shower is loose and leaking while using. House was clean, comfortable, wish I could live there permanently. Coffee pot was broken/clogged- took over two hours to brew a pot! We bought another one at a thrift store but it’s pretty slow too- but at least it has a timer! That was the only inconvenience- and the previous visitors hadn’t cleaned the bbq, so we had to clean their mess off of it before we could use it. The rug in main living room definitely has a dog/urine smell, and there was some lingering pet hair from previous visitors but wasn't bothersome I would absolutely stay here again- the views, awesome patios, the sounds of the ocean and the deer everywhere… just an amazing time. It’s thoughtfully designed with extra furniture items, well stocked kitchen tools and supplies, bedding and bathroom needs. The view is fantastic especially on the 2nd floor deck. Three enclosed outdoor areas to enjoy. It’s spacious yet cozy and our family of four had an amazing time. We especially liked how the downstairs is very private with a door. The opportunities: the dishwasher needs to be either thoroughly cleaned or replaced. It’s actually disgusting and concerning as we couldn’t trust cleanness of the dinnerware in the cabinets. All dirty dishes turned up oily because it wasn’t cleaned and chalky from the detergent powder. Bathtubs drain slowly. I was told the 2nd floor is worse. Other than the two malfunctioning items the place is clean, and almost perfect. Reviewer Comments: the home was lovely.....the view was awesome. it was very clean...well stocked. but could use a new set of kitchens knife. the downstairs toilet wasn't working properly....the master bath drain was not working. we were standing in an inch of water while showering.thought the cleaning fee was a little steep.fabulous home. we have found our new place to stay from now on. how many dogs do you allow? looking forward to staying here in December ##### sad u. It was extremely well maintained/updated and just right for our friends weekend. It was great to have 3 bathrooms. This is the second time we stayed in the Marine Terrace area. While it is nice, if returning to the house at night it is very dark; no street lights and a bit hard to find. A couple of suggestions: Replace the upstairs TV. It's old and small. There were six of us and the place was roomy as well as the bonus of having three full baths was great. We had an issue with the coffee maker and they replaced it with a new one when contacted. That being said, it is a GREAT house -- lots of room and a fully fenced back yard for dogs! The downstairs apartment is super, and the upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms are all good.
