« This is a lovely place and it was a treat to wake up to this glorious view. The host is a friendly and kind person - we enjoyed meeting him. There are some downsides: its a steep set of stairs to get to the place - worth it, for us, but worth noting. Also the pool is not heated, and in January was too cold to go in. There is a fantastic Italian restaurant a 3 min drive from this place - you have to go there for the fantastic food and the jaw-dropping view »

« Worse than the pictures. Cant understand why they have a hugh rating. Room is cold due to breeze from door and windows. Door does not fit as it deformed from sun exposure. There is no hot water in the bathroom. I am nog typically picky but this place is ons on the worst places i ever stayed in. »

« Super accueil par le propriétaire, bonne literie, petit déjeuner vraiment excellent et service très attentionné. La température plutôt fraiche vu l'altitude a été bien apprécié après notre arrivée de l'aéroport (très bon sommeil), pas trop éloigné mais petite route pas toujours facile avec de nombreux virages et en mauvais état (mais c'est courant au Costa-Rica !). Logements pas très récents et relativement petits, mais très bon rapport qualité-prix, calme. Nous le recommandons sans aucune...

« This is a huge master suite inside the owners' home. They are super-friendly, and allowed us to check in early as our flight into San Jose landed in the morning. As an unexpected bonus, we got to see a beautiful sunset right from the unit, overlooking the Central Valley. Convenient starting point for tours to Volcan Poas and other points north. Do bring night eye covers, as the unit becomes very bright in the morning. »
