5/5 Excellent
"A few paces from Piazza San Marco but quiet and right on the canal with gondolas lined up. Great position to walk round monuments or down to the Grand Canal in 5 mins"

"Located between two notable sites Rialto bridge (2 minute walk) and San Marco Cathedral (10 minute walk). The staff at this hotel were so wonderful! Beds comfortable and rooms well appointed. You must book the canal view room to see all the boat traffic. Still very quiet with shops and restaurants outside your door. Complimentary boat taxi to Merato. "

"The hotel is in a great location, the waterbas from the airport stops along an alley to the left of the hotel. Its about a 10 minute walk to the basillica and 15 minures to Rialto Bridge. Hotel is spotless and staff are friendly and helpful"

"Loved it! Quiet, clean, peaceful stay away from the hubbub of Venice. Super convenient location - just a 2-minute walk from the train into Venice, which takes about 20-25 minutes. Would definitely stay here again."
A verified traveller stayed at Crowne Plaza Venice East, an IHG Hotel
"Hotel Montecarlo was in an awesome location. Close to shops and restaurants. The hotel is a short walk away from the water bus which is very convenient. The staff was friendly and answered any questions we had. They also helped us bring our bags up to the room. The rooms were dated, but very clean and had everything you could need. The bed was very comfortable."
"What a find! Unique, palatial rooms and a complimentary hot breakfast not seen elsewhere in Italy. The only disappointment was no AC or a fan for a warm evening in the loft beds."
