Took advantage of several snorkel tours and the on-site kayaking during our stay and everything was wonderful. The staff is kind and the food is fresh and delicious. All of the casitas are lovely and the grounds are meticulously maintained. However, everything else about this resort is pretty underwhelming and overpriced. The beach looked filthy with brown water, seaweed and garbage everywhere and pretty much deserted. The food was overpriced and quite mediocre in quality. The one time we wanted to use the hot tub - it was pumping cold water and we went there to ask if they could make it warmer and waited and waited but no one even came out or did anything. The resort is located a good 30-40 min drive on the Golf Cart to Sam Pedro (and the road is completely destroyed, so the ride is very far from pleasant). The staff is amazing. Very attentive and friendly. You truly have a luxury experience here why also maintaining the feeling you are on an island. The food is great and there isn’t a bad view on the property. Everything is a short walk to the beach which is amazing. Short drive to San Pedro if you want to experience what the locals have to offer.
