"The decor is a little dated on the inside but the property itself was perfect for our needs. Our kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and right next door is a grocery store and another one right down the road. There was ample parking for our golf cart and other guests golf carts as well. There is a small pool that they keep pretty clean as well and for the most part very quiet. Everything is basically within walking distance to the town center and restaurants along the beach. The staff was very accommodating and helped us with whatever we needed. The views from our room were spectacular ( I recommend booking an ocean view suite and asking for a hammock). The only thing I would suggest to management is maybe adding an additional blanket in the rooms for those evenings that can get a bit cooler. Also a warning to the guests, do not lose or forget your beach towels as you will be charged a $25 fee for each lost towel. We definitely enjoyed our stay and we would definitely recommend this place to our friends and family or come back for a future visit."

"Our experience at Sunbreeze Hotel was just beyond perfect! I can not speak more highly of the staff, they go above and beyond to make excursions happen for their guests and are so friendly. Tropic Air is literally across the street (10ft), cart rentals right outside the door, and restaurants all right there. The restaurant onsite was just fabulous. Walkable to both ferries on island. We will be back!"

"This hotel is located in downtown San Pedro on the oceanfront. You can easily walk most of San Pedro directly from the hotel. You feel safe walking during the daytime and at dusk. There are many restaurants, no chain restaurants but all locally owned restaurant of various quality. There is a restaurant at the hotel but we didn't try it. Keep in mind that in San Pedro there are no all inclusives. The hotel is very clean and provides filtered water. The small pool is very clean. We went the first week of April and we had no mosquitoes at all. The streets of San Pedro are very narrow and busy, you need to be very cautious because it can be very crowded with pedestrians, golf carts, motorcycles, bicycles... and there are no sidewalks. There are very few cars and trucks anywhere, just more golf carts than you can imagine. Rent a golf cart if you want to go to Secret Beach, the only really nice beach on the island, about 40 minutes by golf cart. If you do rent a golf cart, just be aware of that all streets are very bumpy everywhere. We flew from Belize City to San Pedro, a 15 minute flight by puddle jumper. It cost a lot more than taking the ferry, but it was worth it. The ferry is 90 minutes one way. This hotel has a relationship with Ambergris Divers, and I was able to arrange my initial scuba dives at the hotel lobby. Also, Ambergris Divers is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel so there's no problem just walking over there to do everything in person there. "
