One of our group members lost his billfold and was hoping he had left it on the dresser in his bedroom. We were in Florence, so I messaged Francesco and he went over and looked everywhere for the billfold. Alas, it had been stolen - but, it was so very kind of Francesco to go above and beyond to help us! The view from our apartment was absolutely beautiful. We could not have stayed in a more amazing location in Tuscany. We do have two suggestions - all four of us are cooks, and the kitchen could use a few more items like a cookie sheet, a better knife - small stuff! Sitting on our large balcony, we spent hours looking at sunsets while eating supper and talking about our day. We also had access to a very large pool where we could cool down after our expeditions. Event though the home is actually three or four apartments, the setting is still very intimate. The home is near a train station with regular transport to all major cities, and also near supermarkets and other service points. As to our hosts, Emmanuel and his family were helpful and involved in making our stay as comfortable as possible. All questions were answered and all issues were resolved quickly.
