Super hotel!!

Posted 14-Aug-2016

Wonderful for a family of four!

Posted 20-Jul-2016
We stayed only one night at this hotel as a stop on our way to Los Angeles. I really wish we had gotten there a bit earlier in the day (or even added an additional night) to enjoy the hotel and area! I really liked the courtyard which was very cute. Their laundry facilities worked out great to get a couple loads done. Carrying around a ton of dirty clothes is pretty gross, as others may agree. My teenager kids were really impressed by the room/suite. With everyone having their own toiletries, the HUGE amount of counter space was WONDERFUL. There was no fighting to get mirror/counter space. As strange as this may sound, this was probably what I appreciated the most along with the complimentary breakfast. It seems they have daily "specials" that can be ordered from the cook on-site. I ordered a breakfast burrito, which tasted fresh and good.

Nice place! Not the newest place in town, but definitely well kept, clean and well managed. Breakfast included was a nice value added. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Not What We Expected but Nice

Posted 26-May-2016
Arrival was a bit disappointing. The hotel was located on a much different part of Monterey than expected - thought it was closer to downtown. Had also hoped by booking a King Suite that there would be a bit of extra space and somewhat of a view of maybe the outdoors but that wasn't the case. My initial reaction was that the room felt claustrophobic (not bigger than a regular sized room except it had a sofa) and the windows (2nd floor) basically looked out at other walls. Still giving it 3 stars because the front desk people were really nice and made check-in easy. Also, the room was very clean and bed comfortable.

Nice rooms - lots of extras

Posted 28-Apr-2016 on Hotels
This is a hotel catering for many business travellers. It has lots of extras including pool, free happy hours for drinks, $7 bbq dinners and extensive breakfast included. Unfortunately the person in the room next to us kept their TVs on all night and fell asleep. security could not wake them so my husband was awake most of the night. Management immediately refunded the entire cost of the room! lovely staff b no one to help with luggage.

Facility choices great

Posted 11-Apr-2016
Pros: The suite set up
Cons: The noise of suitcases rolling along outside of room.
Location: Have family nearby and meet other out of town friends to peruse the area. We usually meet in Cambria. So this was a great alternative.
Great breakfast choices. Pool area with fire places, spa and food available in the evenings. Rooms offered space for relaxing with couches and tv outside bedroom area. All around good experience. Location was good for activities in area. They even have bikes to rent for cruising the town.

Lovely hotel, spacious, shuttles downtown and SLO

Posted 11-Apr-2016
Cons: nothing
Location: Go check out Avila Beach which is 10 minutes away. Enjoy the beach during the day or a nice dinner overlooking the ocean at sunset.
We have visited San Luis Obispo several times and have stayed at Quality Inn a few times. We love it! The rooms are huge with a separate living room, TV's in bedroom and living room. They have one of the best breakfasts ever with custom made eggs, bacon, etc. They also have a complimentary happy hour every evening which is delightful. Our son just committed to Cal Poly and we expect to be staying there quite a bit - a lovely home away from home. We also love the complimentary shuttle to downtown and onto the University.
