Welcome to our Shell Beach house--our family's home since 2008\. It is located in a charming neighborhood walking distance to the beach, Dinosaur Caves Park, restaurants, coffee shops, and pretty much anything you need. We love walking the entire neighborhood in Shell Beach. Pismo Beach and Avila Beach are a short drive away. Or venture a little farther (10 minutes by car) and south is the quaint town of Arroyo Grande, north is the infamous San Luis Obispo--the "happiest town in America." Our home has a great open kitchen and dining area that connects to the living room with a giant window letting in lots of bright light. The front yard deck has built in benches for lounging outside and table/chairs for outdoor dining. Cute well stocked beach cottage with modern touches. Advise to guests: watch water temp in kitchen & master bathroom, beware of steam burns in master shower. Beach is closed, no access. Do not run water during night as pipes start knocking so bad it sounds like a jackhammer in the bathroom walls. Bring your own toilet paper as this is the cheapest, thinnest, scratchiest paper - I've seen better in gas station bathrooms. If you are traveling with a small dog be aware they can get out of both front and back yards. Advice to hosts: upgrade the toilet paper. Really. Even just a little. Put warning label on hot water in kitchen & master shower, or turn down the max temp a little. Replace the squeegee in master shower - it doesn't work even with full body pressure. Find source of pipes knocking & do whatever it takes to fix it. Nearby beach is closed fyi. This place is comfortable & nice, good job & thank you. ##### Heather h.
