I’ve been there a few times now and it’s my go to when I visit in morro bay it’s always a nice stay, this time the ants where everywhere though.

We chose this hotel because it was pet friendly. I guess you have to take the bad w the good. We went in April during a storm. The rooms are freezing and not a very good heating system. The cable kept going out. My mom had a separate room and her tv worked fine. Overall it meets a persons needs if you need pet friendly but it’s not fancy at all. Lots of parking avail for large vehicles.

I can't sleep. There is a dog yelping at 11:30 and no one seems to care. What a hell hole. I guess if the place is dog friendly it's ok to let your animal own the place. Do not stay here folks, plenty of other options for the same price elsewhere. I guess this is why management leaves at 5:00 pm, so they don't have to worry about problems on the premises. I'm very tired, and can't go to sleep.

True, we are a pet-friendly establishment. We also have a staff member on-site for late check-ins along with an after-hours contact number on our office door for concerns such as this. This was a last minute booking for me and my 2 daughters. We had the King room with Morro Rock view and it didn’t disappoint. For the price of $91 out the door and an amazing view, it was an absolute steal of a deal. The staff was friendly and will certainly boom again

Nice place to stay. Shower water pressure was not very strong. Also could use designated parking due to busy parking lot during day. Other than that, very nice stay.

The location is unbeatable, right in front of the Rock and Bay, walkable to everything especially the beautiful beaches around, the only thing is there is no microwave other than that everything you need is there. Small room but very comfortable . We didn’t need microwave.

Considering the price was about half to 1/3 of the chain hotels, it is hard to give them a bad review. You get what you pay for. The only complaints would be: -Maintenance appears to be of handy man quality - No microwave in the room - the toilet did not fully flush Otherwise for an old hotel not too bad

Plumbing issues (no cold water in shower) handles stripped so the shower head was always dripping. Floors sticky and coffee maker looked dirty. Overwhelming chemical smell so we had to leave our window open in the rain. Our other room had the toilet leaking from the base.

You get what you pay for. Location was prime and the views were great. However there was water damage in the bathroom that had the walls swelling and would crumble if you touched it. The tile was also separating / breaking. Very unsanitary. Room had spiders and cobwebs and smelled musky (popcorn ceiling). We found dog hair on our belongings from the previous guests. Walls are paper thin, can hear next door guests talking and coughing all night long.
