But- if you want a cheap(er) place to stay and don’t care or expect even the minimum of comfort. This is your place. Cheap, musty, dirty and unkempt, but not and I repeat NOT bug infested, a/c works and Doninoes delivers here!"

"It was better than expected. Great location at Point San Luis-(South of Galveston Island). Great view from the main/front patio/balcony. The house was beautiful and spacious. The best thing, it was within walking distance from the beach, approximately 2 blocks."

"The house looks great! The owner was awesome about a AC issue. It wasn’t blowing cold air. She sent the AC guy immediately that night. He said it needed to be replaced, the owner (host) had it replaced the very next morning! Overall this was a great stay for my family and I and would recommend it to everyone. My ONLY cons are the master bedroom bed. It dips and its not very comfortable. But the room in beautiful! And the water filter in the kitchen needs to be replaced. Other then that...

"My son and daughter-in-law got married on the beach. We rented this home and our other family rented the one next door. It was a perfect intimate weekend with family and the house was perfect for our large group. 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms made for ease of everyone getting ready. The kitchen was not as well stocked as other places we’ve stayed but cooking wasn’t really in our plans. Would love to stay here again."

Nice quiet neighborhood, good fishing and crabbing, beautiful view of the bay. Our new favorite vaca spot. Room for everyone. Bring chairs for outside seating down stairs. Study remote controlled fans and lighting."

"This house was perfect! It was further out from Galveston than I realized but the beach was almost private! It was super clean and even had 2 menus to some restaurants close by! The golf cart was a nice addition and we loved taking it for a ride! We needed to use the lift and that was so convenient and needed for someone who couldn’t walk! Michael was so patient with all our questions and answered them quickly. We didn’t want to leave and will definitely be back for another trip!!"
