« Great hosts with a great location conveniently located near everything to do in Alameda. »

« I was only there for one evening. I wanted to be close to the Oakland airport for my Monday mid morning flight to avoid traffic. It’s a perfect place for that. No need to get on the freeway and just a short 4-5 mile drive down the hill. Very pretty area too. Oh and the water pressure for the shower was awesome and heats up quick. Thank you again for a very convenient and peaceful stay! I will stay again when in the area. »

« Really nice in-law cottage with a lovely patio and garden. Close to freeway and Grand Lake Theatre, plenty of food options and a supermarket nearby. TV was a problem but Wi-Fi worked and we used our own tablets most of the time. Washer & dryer needs some knobs replaced but host was responsive & friendly about helping us find a workaround. Washed clothes just fine. Vehicle parking on street or at public lot nearby. Very nice place and I’d stay again! »

« Very close to Stanford, a great efficiency studio with the basic amenities and a spare monitor which made working online a breeze. Irene is a pleasure to work with as a host. »

« My son and I stayed here while we shopped to move him into his new place. It was very private, clean, and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. Very walkable and College Avenue has lots of food choices. So much fun to explore. »

« I am not sure if it's the property manager, who did call and apologize the next day, or VRBO processes and management. We were not able to access the property at midnight, having just arrived in Oakland. After repeated attempts to contact the property manager all day for a door code, I finally called VRBO. The property had been rented, possibly under a different company. I am not sure. We were left to find accomodations at 1 AM. The property was right by the family's house we were visiting so...

« This property was in a lovely and safe neighborhood, and offered a peaceful and private experience. The only drawback was that it does not have air conditioning, so if the temps are high, the cottage does get quite warm during the day but then cools off very nicely at night. The extra bonus is that there's a small private patio area dedicated just to the cottage. A wonderful plus! »

« Stayed for two and a half weeks while recovering from a surgery and couldn't be happier with my decision. Clean, safe, and all amenities are as advertised. My only note is that temperature control was a bit of a hassle in the bedroom I stayed in—however, once I became familiar with both the space heater and the portable air conditioner and learned how/when to use them, it wasn't a problem. The lack of a living room might also be a dealbreaker for some but it wasn't a problem for us. Would highly...
