« Despite Oakland has its « reputation », we felt relatively safe and the neighbourhood was ok for 4 guys on a mountain bike trip. Gabriel and his wife are very cool and it was easy to contact them. The price was in consideration of these factors and it was perfect for us. »

« I’ve been to 3rd world countries that are safer and cleaner than Oakland. With that being said, this property is located in the epicenter of Oakland’s homeless, drug, and violence problem. During our stay, we experienced the worst of it; vagrants and homeless encampments just steps away from the subdivision, and to top it all off, an active shooting. It also didn’t help that the property wasn’t properly sanitized and had leftover/open bottles of alcohol left in the fridge. When we complained,...
