"House was a great location. Just beautiful. However, the hammocks were old and rotting, would have loved to use them. Hot tub was not in a location that we felt comfortable using since it was by the driveway. My only other issue with the property is everything from the showers to the main toilet and all the ceiling fans were impossible to reach. Even my son at 6’ had trouble reaching. Definitely recommend longer chains and maybe a stool in the bathroom. "

"There is a complete misrepresentation about on site parking. There are paid lots near by, but up to you to secure a spot. The lot that “they recommended” doesn’t even do overnight parking. Additionally, the apartment was not clean upon arrival. The shower drain did not drain properly — we take quick showers, yet we were left standing in inches of water, and it took all night for the water to fully drain. This is unacceptable. The window/shower ledge was visibly dirty and even had someone else’s...

"Bed sheets were dirty, had to call twice the go to the front desk when they didn’t answer. They promised sheets would be changed and they were not. Had to return the following day and ask for them to change sheets. Walls had stains in the room. Staff never answer phone so if you have questions or want to order food you need to go to the lobby. Staff at the bar were polite. Also fyi there is a destination fee you are charged as soon as you checked in. "

"Pool was pretty. Easy walk to the beach, about 2 blocks. The hotel restaurant was ok. Breakfast was good if you wanted an omelette. Other items lacked some, not as many choices as most Embassy Suites. Room was clean. Staff was friendly. Would stay again. The grocery is a walk around the corner. "

"It was a nice resort, but needed some updating. The WiFi was pretty terrible and overall systems dated. You have to wear a watch like band to open your room door, but have to manually provide your room number and name for every drink or meal. Most bars ring you up every time you order a drink even if you are having several rounds. We like more adult style properties and this catered more to families and conventions. Also, the food was very average. They did have good bourbon selection in a few bars which is tough to find in the Caribbean. The private island was ok, but transport was not timely like they advertise. "
