Sub-Penthouse, Ocean & City Views at Pena Mar! Spacious and very comfortable apartment. Furnished with a Queen BedSet in Master Room with Dresser & 32 'LCD-TV, also a Second room with a Full BedSet and a Dresser unit & 32'LCD-Sony TV both with a full closet, and a Third room with one BunkBed that accommodates 3 kids (or 2-adults and 1-kid), all rooms have A/C and have full size closets. Spacious balcony, kitchen with all stainless steel equipments, micro, washer/dryer, 46' TV set with home theater system (DVD, and music system) Peña Mar Ocean Club is a well secured complex with 24 hour security. The development has three pools +1 children's pool, 1 tennis court, one basketball court, one Jacuzzi, walking track, Gym, playground and clubhouse. The view from the balcony is spectacular. You can see Villa Marina, Palomino, Palominito islands and on a clear day you can see Culebra and St. Thomas. Access to apartment with elevators or stairs, 2-car parking spaces, gated complex. The complex is very safe with 24 hours security and gated entrance. Snorkeling trips are 1 minute away (at the marina you see from the deck); Playa Seven Seas is a beautiful and uncrowded beach; a nature reserve w/ guided tours is 5 mins; and El Yunque Caribbean National Forest is 20 mins. Grocery shopping is 2 mins away. Also, you can take a ferry (5 minutes away) or an airplane on the local airport to visit Culebra and Vieques islands. El Conquistador Resort and the golf course are 3 minutes away. Walking distance to Marinas where you can go for a day sail to Icacos, Palominos, Ramos among other islands. Checking in was a little difficult because the security at the gate wanted to know which apartment we were staying in. Which host never supplied, we tried to call the host but no answer. Luckily the security was very helpful and found our apartment number for us. The apartment had a lot of essentials (towels, kitchen like pots and pans)but wished it had a hair dryer. Otherwise the rental was great and would rent again if we come back!!! I would give it a 4.9 stars for no hair dryer. ##### Thang N. My visitors were turned away. We felt safe the entire time and that is a big deal when I’m in a foreign location. The kitchen was very well equipped. The host was quick to respond to our inquiries. The location is very central to many activities, the bioluminescent bay, ferries to Culebra/Cirques, Luqillo etc. The property was clean and very secure. Our children loved the infinity pool. The other pools needed some cleaning. As for the apartment itself the views are beautiful. There are many extras in the apartment like fishing poles, beach cooler & chairs, toys, beach/pool toys. Unfortunately, some of the basics that I would like were not available, especially in the kitchen area. There was no salt, pepper, sugar. The coffee maker and other appliances were very dated. The coffee maker had a carafe that was for a different type of coffee maker and we had to press the value in the carafe manually to make it work. The bathrooms and towels need updating and the mattresses need replacing. All in all a pretty good value for the price ##### Raquel I. Many pool options to choose from for the kids to enjoy time at the complex, and so close to local beaches, restaurants, and boating/snorkeling activities. Close to Seven Seas beach as well as the East Coast Water Taxi that can take you to a private island for a day of snorkeling and swimming.
