We were within walking distance of great restaurants, bars, and coffee shops, making it super convenient. Just a short walk away, we found electric scooters that made it easy to explore Loíza, and Ubers were readily available for quick trips into Old San Juan. Most importantly, we felt safe throughout our stay, which was a big plus.The rental itself was exactly as described and would be great for a short one or two night stay. However, for a longer stay (we were there for four nights), noise was a bit of a challenge. Even though there were plenty of signs asking for quiet out of respect for neighbors, we were often woken up late at night by surrounding noise. The walls are quite thin, so you can hear everything—including an enthusiastic street rooster that started crowing around 3 AM and kept going until 8 AM every morning.During the day, it was also a bit tricky to relax, as neighbors were frequently doing yard work. And on our last night, we had an unexpected visitor a rather large cockroach (about 2.5 inches long) that crawled onto my pillow while we were getting ready for bed.If you're just looking for a short, budget-friendly stay and don’t plan to spend much time in the rental, this place is a great option. However, if you value more peace and privacy, it might be worth spending a little extra elsewhere.Overall, we really loved the price and location and felt safe the entire time! ##### Meagan J. Restaurant are with walking distance or you can Uber which is also very convenient. The neighbors are very nice.
