We stayed January 2026 on the front end of a business trip in San Juan and had a great time. The condo is part of a twin gated high-rise community that flanks a marina and sits on the Caribbean Sea. It had all we needed and offers great value. The first time you arrive you have to give your name to access the compound / main gate and then entering the building requires using a call box the very first time. Once you get into the unit, there's a keycard that opens the main gate and gets you into the lobby. Although we found the surrounding area to be safe and very quiet, the main gate is staffed 24/7 so it's great for safety / families if you're new to the island -- there's no way anyone not staying at the condos could access the fenced compound. This unit is on the 21st floor and the views from the windows and balcony are really breath taking. The condo itself is comfortable for 2 to 4. The bedrooms have A/C the rest of the condo does not. Due to the elevated position and proximity to the sea opening the windows gave a great breeze so we were never uncomfortable it was actually really nice. There is no laundry in the unit, the building has a laundry room with plenty of washers/dryers that take quarters available on site. The pool is very large and has a great view, in January it was fine to swim but not heated. Has a baby pool but no hot tub. Beaches are about a 10 minute drive, we did several great excursions accessible by car including kayak, rain forest, ferry.
