We were lucky. Originally We got a third floor room. But, somehow we got upgraded to a 21st floor with wonderful view. So awesome... Nice place with friendly staffs. Eventhough, We did try the restaurant and got "dryed age" new york steak, it was taste awfull. or, maybe we just don't like the taste of any kind dryed age. overall, We had a blast.

Close to all I needed

Came for my "starvation" mostly to use the pool and see friends who live in the area. It's close to restaurants and shopping if you want to do so. Nice to walk around downtown. The room was perfect and comfortable, staff was perfect and answered all questions as well as I forgot something there and they found it and set aside for my friend to pick up. I have been here before and will continue to come back

They were late In delivering luggage took forever to get car from valet and we tip well!

Nice hotel, easy get in and out fwy 280 both north and south ramps. $31 for valet parking a night, in and out do not count.

Nice hotel, but no shuttle

Cons: Needs a shuttle to San Jose airport.
Location: Pizza take-out, Baskin-Robbins, MacDonalds -- all 3-4 blocks away
Beautifully renovated room on 24th floor; great view; awful, tiny pillows; I thought the hotel had a free shuttle to the San Jose airport, but it did not, costing us another $25 in taxi fare.

Great Location

The Marriot is great for a short stay. The room was clean and comfortable. Check-in and check-out is easy. The hotel is in the heart of downtown and great restaurants and bars are in easy walking distance. I recommend Original Joe's for some Classic Italian-American cuisine.

really liked everything the only thing was that reception desk didnt make eye contact when my husban and I walked in didnt tell us of we need assistance with anything we had to go up to someone if this was where we check in because we weren't sure where to go. Anyways we checked in and after that everything was good

Cons: They could go to Hotel Valencia in Santana Row and see how a real hotel is run. Amenities are much better. For the same price.
Location: Just ok
Check in was a 30 minute problem. Not sure if it was Expedia or Marriott. Last name was incorrect and no one checked that. The pool had no service till 5 pm. Not even water. Couldn't order from room service.

Not worth for the money you spend.

Pros: Area good, thats all
Hotel staff are not friendly and no smiles. Even no water bottle at Room. VOSS bottle there with Sign, if you use this, charge $4.00 in your bill. What a rude.
