Un hôtel historique au coeur de la Silicon Valley
Publié le 14 mars 2023 sur HotelsL’hôtel de Anza est un très bel hôtel historique de 1931, bien situé, dans le centre de San José, au cœur de la Silicon Valley, près de la gare Diridon et de l’aéroport de San José. Le quartier offre tous les niveaux de restauration à faible distance. Des fenêtres, on peut admirer les bâtiments des sociétés de la high tech, comme Adobe ou Zoom. L’architecture est superbe et l’intérieur, tout en gardant du caractère, a été modernisé de façon à offrir tout le confort nécessaire, comme par exemple des chargeurs avec prises usb. Le personnel est aimable et serviable.
La climatisation et les tuyauteries peuvent être un peu bruyantes. Malheureusement le restaurant est fermé et les possibilités annoncées réduites.

Malheureusement le restaurant est fermé et les possibilités annoncées réduites.

Very good hotel well situated
Publié le 4 mai 2019 sur HotelsAll was great. Hotel well situated, nice rooms, big and large bathroom. Only thing we booked 7 rooms and none of us were able to book at 3pm, we all had to wait. Some got a voucher most did Not.

Hidden amenity fees are being charged: 15$ per day. We were there for a conference and rented three rooms for 4 nights, which means we had to pay an extra 180$ !! This is not acceptable. Plus, the rooms were sometimes being cleaned very late, at 6 pm, while we were back. Also, the bar tender was very unpleasant and grumpy.
I regret to say this, because otherwise I liked the hotel, the style and architecture, and the location. It is different from the cold and boring big chains of hotels. The doorman and the people at the reception desk were very kind, polite and helpful.

A quick walk to the SAP Center, and several great restaurants. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

After looking at multiple different hotels, we settled with this hotel, which was not cheap for what we got. Just like others have mentioned, I was surprised to not have parking at the property. You can opt to valet for $47 or try and find parking yourself. Either way, it was inconvenient. The staff there were very friendly and professional, but the property itself was another story.
The room my family and I stayed in was pretty bad. The carpets look and feel old. The windows were covered with spider webs, inside and out, the curtains were half broken, but were able to be closed with some effort. The bathroom was very dirty and dusty, broken tiles and the shower floor had a huge crack on it. It’s something you would expect at a very low budget hotel at a truck stop in the middle of nowhere. The dust was simply ridiculous. My son was sneezing so much from it.
The only positives were the location’s convenience and the friendly staff. It was unfortunate that the pictures for the hotel on Expedia were deceptive. The actual hotel room did not look like the room we got. Learn from our mistake and look elsewhere.

Simply beautiful hotel with hospitable staff. Somewhat rough downtown location. Sorry the bar didn’t have any snacks: would be an easy fix.
