It was unclear where parking is for the small hotel (4 floors only). Parking is $45/day and there a few overnight options without walking a few blocks. If you have things that need to be brought to the room and you would have to make multiple trips, there is no offer to help or a suggestion on how to get guest belongings to the room. Breakfast options are limited on Sunday at the hotel. The elevator is terribly slow so it makes the most sense to take the stairs in the small hotel except for the fact that you can't take the stairwell down to the first floor. You can take the stairwell down 2 floors, find the indoor stairs, and then take those down to the lobby.

The location of the room is pretty good. The room is clean and quiet. I will definitely choose the same hotel if I traveled to the town next time.

The guest parking is $43! Not included in room price. Public parking is cheaper. Location is great. Walking distance to a lot of places. Room was nice, but u can hear all the road traffic, busses, trolly, people.

Clean room, pleasant bathroom, amazing bed, near downtown very walkable if you want to party. There was a party on the bar(1st floor) and I heard people shouting from my room (4th floor).

The hotel staff was incredible. The staff at the front desk called me by name several times and were able to secure an early check-in. I also had to change clothes in between meetings and the staff provided me an extra room so I didn’t have to use the restroom. If you’re staying in the area, highly recommend.

The only negative is the bed. For a newly remodeled hotel the bed sagged in the middle and it looked like an old mattress. I woke up with soreness in my back. Room 416.

We stayed here one night. Upside: we checked in at 12:30…and the room, tho very very small was clean and maintained. The downside: the advertised brunch was not available, in fact, the restaurant wasn’t open. We walked downtown to find food, and virtually every restaurant was closed. We finally found a sandwich shop. Parking is an additional $39, and $40 if you’re not a guest. The lot was jammed full and we were afraid we would t be able to find a spot after a Sharks game, about 10:30. We got the last spot. We weren’t terribly impressed, and it’s doubtful we would stay again.

We arrived to hotel at 11:30pm and there was a group a people in front just hanging out and smoking pot. It was like they had no other place to go and wanted to gather in the courtyard in front. Not a welcoming atmosphere. The property is noisy but it is an older building downtown. It was clean and rooms are nice.

Noisy - the light rail goes by all night and you can hear the bells. Great location. Parking is close but you have to pay for it.

The staff was facility itself were very good. The issues we had were the noise from outside. Rumble and bells from the light rail that runs next to the building was the main source. Loud cars also contributed significantly.

the hotel and hotel staff were A - great front desk service and the room was immaculate. :) the attached restaurant, however, was odd. service was not great and the food was subpar. i'd stay at the hotel again - but i'd choose another place to eat.

The hotel has character and the decor is nicely appointed. Really liked the dining options. We were visiting SJSU and the location is very convenient. $39.00 Parking is around the corner from the hotel (wasn’t too far).
